Floors were installed by Mr. Eddie Farias. They’re fine, but the lack of upfront information was the real problem. Nothing about needing a plumber was mentioned until the job was already done, and I was left dealing with it after the fact right before the holidays.
Contractors and their nondisclosures will get you, and this was one of those situations. He only discloses what he wants to up front. After the work was finished, he suddenly told me I now needed to hire a plumber, something never mentioned anywhere in the contract or before the job started.
When I questioned it, he tried to spin it as if they had “saved my house from flooding,” and then hit me with an “I’m sorry you feel that way” while still charging me $75 for a toilet that was never put back.
If that’s the level of professionalism you’re looking for, go ahead. But I’d strongly suggest finding someone else.
