The staff at Reliable most definitely live up to the company name. Many times people in the trades do not communicate well. Jeff Lulay, foreman, is excellent and very compassionate with the needs of customers and his crew. John Wagner, lead installer, did an excellent job installing luxury vinyl tile for us. Karastan sent defective vinyl tiles but Kevin Columbro, owner/manager, and the crew worked wonders to adjust schedules and complete our project. I used Reliable to select products for a new home I purchased in 1978 and I am still just as impressed with their service in 2025. We thank them for their careful attention to our needs during this complete replacement of floor covering in our current condo unit.

New laminate floors and baseboards replacing combination old wood floor/carpet/marble tile in condominium:From beginning to end, excellent service! The in-store person provided a sample to take home and the in-home sales person was very helpful with the measurements and answering questions. The estimate was available quickly and I was on their schedule within a week.The removal crew arrived on time as did the installer on the following days. Very professional and clean. The installer answered all of my additional questions and completed the job a day earlier than expected, with wonderful results. He left all areas clean and organized. Very happy with the entire experience!
Basically, we wanted new hardwood floors in our house and this was the only place that had hardwood floors that matched our existing hardwood. We were excited that they had something like that so we decided to go ahead and order our estimate. The lady that came to our house was nice, she gave suggestions on what services we would need, what the process is going to be like, and etc. She was very thorough with her explanations. Right before she left our house, she told us that we would be contacted about how much the wood and install would cost in a week.A week goes by and we hear nothing from her so we decided to see her in person. She told us she found another hardwood that would match our existing hardwood better, and she told us to wait another week to get a sample of the new hardwood. She also told us that she would be dropping off the sample in front of our house. A week goes by and we decided to go back again, and she told us that the supplier was late and that the sample will come in later. We decided to wait ANOTHER week, and we decided to call her, but she clearly declined our call because the call went through for several beeps then went to voicemail. Then we decided to email her, and we waited and waited and we got annoyed enough to go with another more professional flooring company.All in all, we felt that we were ignored, even though we were going to buy 2000 sqft of hardwood + engineered wood. It felt like to us that they were picking customers they liked and preferred. If you think you can be one of their favorite customers then go for it, but they ignored us for a very long time, even though we were patient with them. I recommend going with someone else.
My clients are an elderly couple who don't get online so I'm writing this review for them. About 6 months ago they had their living room carpet removed and replaced. The cost was about $2,000.00. The carpet is beautiful but the damage done to the hard wood baseboards is absolutely atrocious and very visible throughout the entire room. I'm posting pics of the damage and another one as an example of what they looked like before. The employee caused the damage while using a tool that helped place the carpet. I'm hoping this company will make this right. Client's last name (repeat customers) starts with a Z. Last photo is an example of how they looked before.
