Recent feedback is mixed. Positive notes highlight a broad selection, helpful guidance from specific staff members, and competitive pricing on larger projects. Critical reviews mention communication delays, uneven responsiveness after purchase, and concerns with cleanliness or finish quality on some installations handled through contractors. Shoppers who plan ahead and confirm timelines and responsibilities report smoother experiences.
Installed broken countertop. Installer tried to hide it. Left messy area covered in a lot of dust and wanted my signature on papers he never let me look at nor provide. Half removed and gouged backsplash walls, Numerous chips and dings all around edges. Nonresponsive to calls and emails, it’s been more than a week and we are waiting for someone to come out, we are local to them. They claim it’s a fissure and they are going to try to fill fix 7 inch crack through and through to hide and chips but this is also not acceptable. Horrible customer service. They really don’t care.
I drove in from East TX a couple of weeks ago, excited to see what United Tile had to offer. The showroom is really beautiful and clean as can be. They also have a great selection of products. However, their customer service is sorely lacking. I walked in and there were two employees sitting to the left. Neither said hello or can we help you. They have a buzzer on the door so it's not like they didn't know anyone was there. Finally, after close to five minutes, one of the employees came over. He did say hello, but then asked if I was "only looking." I thought that was a strange thing to say to a potential customer. I told him I was, actually, "only looking" but that I was planning a whole house renovation early next year. I thought that he might ask some questions about that, but he just said ok, let me know if you need anything and walked back to his desk. I looked around the showroom, passing two more employees who also didn't offer any acknowledgement. I looked a little more and made my way to the door to leave. No goodbye, no come again, no here, take a card, just the two employees sitting at their desks with their noses glued to their phones. I found the whole atmosphere of this place to be kind of cold. In other tile stores I have been to the employees almost give you too much attention. Not here, though. I won't be back.
After getting several quotations from couple of flooring companies, we chose United tile. We believed that they will do a great job. They do have huge collections of the materials but the work done by their contractor was terrible. Tile floor is uneven almost everywhere and finishing is very poor. We are disappointed with our new kitchen floor that we replaced with tile.
Would not recommend. In august my husband and I went through the store a picked out the countertops we wanted in our new build. After one month of not hearing back, I stopped by the store in September and walking though the pieces we picked had tags with our name. Brian was not there, emailed him and still no answers. It’s now November and when I called to talk to the manager, they no longer have the pieces we picked out. Such a waste of time and now having to start over! I’ve had people try to warn me about this same problem others experienced.
Recently we had our master bathroom remodel and the entire house tiled. We worked with Anthony for tile selection and grout. He is very knowledgeable.During the work we had Lorenzo as our project manager. He was very communicative and checked in regularly with us.We visited the other major tile companies in the area and by far this was the best price for the entire job, shower glass included. They also took care of moving the large furniture pieces as the job progressed. If you in the market for tile work definitely stop by United tile.
