When we moved into our two-story house, we loved that the downstairs and one upstairs bedroom already had hardwood floors. The problem? We wanted to do the rest of the house—stairs, hallway, and two more bedrooms—but no flooring company could match the existing hardwood. Every place we called couldn't find it.

Then we found Z Flooring and Mashad.

Mashad specializes in unique and exotic floors, and when he told us he could find a match, we were skeptical. But he delivered—big time. He found two options: one was an exact match (but super pricey), and the other was nearly identical at half the cost. He didn’t just push the expensive one—he gave us choices and saved us a ton of money.

Beyond that, Mashad was honest, straightforward, efficient, and detail-oriented. He's also a problem-solver. In one of the bedrooms, the ground was uneven (like, really uneven), and instead of just covering it up, he took the time to show us exactly what was going on. He used different tools to measure the uneven spots and even uncovered how the previous owner had tried to “fix” it—by stuffing newspaper and random materials under the floor. Yikes. He walked us through our options, explained the pros and cons, and ultimately, we decided to have him level it properly before laying the new flooring. That was the only unexpected cost—but it was absolutely necessary, and there was no way he could have known until the old flooring was removed.

Mashad is meticulous, kind-hearted, and just really good at what he does. He and his team were clean, and we didn't have any complaints. Highly impressed and would 100% recommend Z Flooring to anyone looking for quality work and an honest professional.

He even can back to assist us when we were getting our bathroom renovated and had to adjust the threshold to match the new tile height! Can’t say enough about this stand up guy and company!
