After waiting a 1.5 week for this result is unacceptable. Area Rug just needed to be steamed cleaned. Rug was returned with more stains and strange odor. Highly do not recommend!
One Star For The Lies!I waited to do this review because I tried to give Carpet Spectrum @Southaven location enough time to right there wrongs. I shopped around and got quotes to install carpet in 4 rooms, hallway, and stairs. Carpet Spectrum was the lowest quote, so I went with them. So I had carpet installed 3rd week in December 2023 and took about 2 days to complete. I was told about how they stand behind their work and if I have any issues with carpet/workmanship to call them, and they will come out and fix. So after taking a few days to thoroughly inspect the workmanship, I discovered areas where the carpet was stapled into place and was coming up around the entryways, base boards, and stairs. Due to the holiday hustle and bustle, I decided to wait until after the holidays to contact and get someone out here. Fast forward past Christmas/New Year holiday. January 2024, I started contacting Carpet Spectrum about my issues. The first person I contacted was Brook, who was the one who came out and gave me the estimate and took my payments. Initially, he said he would send my complaint in so they can start a work order and that someone should call me to schedule. 2 weeks went by nothing, so I called Brook again and stated the same thing and that someone should call to schedule. 2 weeks later, nothing, so I called the store directly and finally got ahold of someone and told them what was going on. They apologized and said, "Let me transfer you to the installation manager, Ron Sanders, and he can help you." I was transferred straight to his voice-mail. So, I left a voice-mail but never got a call back. So the next day, I called to speak with him, and I was able to speak with him about the issue. He apologized and said I would get someone scheduled to make repairs. So I was scheduled for 10 am Monday morning. The installer called and confirmed a 10am appointment. I thought finally I'm going to get this fixed. Well, 10:30 came around and no show. The installer texted me and said he's running behind but will be there by 12 pm. I never saw or heard from the installer from that point. I was so fed up with the lies and decided not to ever deal with company/location again. Very unprofessional with all the lies. Communication with their customers and the communication among the employees there is horrible. Each person I talked to blamed the other person for dropping the ball. One thing I didn't mention, and I swept it under the rug. The initial carpet installers unhinged my attic door and stripped the wood where the screw went. They didn't try to fix it or even let me know that it was damaged. I found out when I went to inspect carpet and opened the door, and the bottom hinge was hanging with most screws missing. I fixed that, so I swept it under rug, but they couldn't even make right in the carpet repairs. They came out and did the measurements BUT you have to soon go to their store to pick out what style or how thick you want the carpet or flooring be...Because they do have a truck load of samples to look at and it would be easier to go and see it up close at the store...
The staff was friendly. I had hardwood put in my lower level and stairs. The floors were done okay but my stairs look like I did the work myself. Disappointed. My neighbors went with the company we didn’t choose because they were more expensive. Lesson learned. Cheaper is not always best.
