Floors Now!

My new best friend Ambre transformed my kitchen into my own personal utopia. Not only did she sense what I was looking for, but took the time to explain the product and its functionality for my high traffic home. The installation crew, headed up by Alex, was superb. It’s amazing how just changing a kitchen floor can turn the room into my favorite room in the house!!!!

WOW! My bathroom looks new!! What a great job FloorsNow! did in installing a vinyl floor over an existing floor. I wasn’t sure it would work out and it came out excellent, and looks the best it ever has. I cannot say enough good about the professionalism of the workers at the retail store as well as and high quality of workmanship the installers performed. Much better than the Big Box stores were workers are not always experts in the area you are updating. I would not hesitate to recommend FloorsNow to anyone ~ great experience.

I have mixed feelings about floors now. We were having our kitchen remodeled and our general contractor recommended them for the flooring and backsplash. We visited the showroom and the salesperson was very nice and helpful. We ultimately went with unfinished hardwood and had them demo the existing floor, install, stain and finish the new floor as well as install a backsplash. Floors now was very flexible and accommodating in scheduling the work. There were many setbacks throughout the remodel process and they worked well with the GC to keep the work moving. The issues I encountered were with the installers. Starting from the demolition of the existing floor, the worker appeared to be in a rush and left a mess of debris on my driveway which included nails. They also failed to cover the HVAC vents while scraping up the old tile floor, and swept tile and debris into the vent. Luckily, I discovered this and someone came to clean it out. The floor was installed and finished with some minor mishaps along the way, but we were ultimately satisfied. After the floor was finished, the appliance movers damaged it. This required the whole floor to be refinished. Unfortunately, the floor refinishers from floors now didn't do as good of a job as they did the first time. After the refinish was complete, we found many hairs stuck under the poly finish and areas with small bumps. There are also waves and ripples in the floor from uneven sanding. When I brought this to their attention, I was told these things are normal... They did another buff and recoat which addressed some of the issues, but unfortunately our brand new floor still has many blemishes which is very disappointing for the cost of this work.
