Highly recommend Black Forest. From the bid to completion, pleasant, professional, on time, conscientious. I had them put in a floor four years ago and did not hesitate to have them return to put in three more rooms. Matched my existing stain flawlessly. Anthony and Alex were skilled, love their work, and kept everything as contained and clean as possible. Chase showed up to help them a couple of days when he had slack time at his job- this shows the teamwork and camaraderie of this bunch. So pleased.
We love Black Forest! Our insurance company tried to get us to go with their vendor and we didn’t want to do that. The BF entire staff is stellar. They kept us informed, their dust collection system is over the top, they paid attention to every little detail. They came back after the floors were done to remove tape, put the kick plate on the dishwasher, reinstall the drawer on the stove and adjust the pantry door. They let us know when they would arrive in the morning…they introduced themselves, were beyond polite, applied samplesOn our floor of possible finish’s and even showed us the difference between satin, Matt and sheen. I can’t say enough good about them. We went with aLighter natural Look which they thought we might like (so they brought that finish even tho we hadn’t requested it) and that was the one we chose. It lightened the entire room which was what we said we wanted to do. You can’t go wrong with them!
Black Forest has done 2 flooring projects and both have turned out amazing. We used true black stain on white oak with a matte finish. The crews were outstanding - prompt, communicative, highly skilled, and overall a pleasure to work with. Steve went above and beyond quoting our projects and answering questions. Sabrina in the front office made sure our projects stayed on timeline. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them for custom work.
I could not be happier with our floors. We thought they were long past the point of even being able to be refinished, but it’s all our budget would allow right now so we went for it with low expectations. Chase did an amazing job. He was so thorough and he explained every step he was taking. I would definitely recommend Blackwood for your floor refinishing job!
Black Forest Hardwood Floors was amazing. Their customer service was the best I have seen in a very long time. Chase and his crew were so attentive to every little detail. They went out of their way to provide different swatches of stain to make sure we were comfortable with the right stain decision. They were very thorough in cleaning everywhere And very thoughtful throughout their job. Their communication was excellent as to what to expect, and when we are able to walk on the wood afterwards.
