Reviews reference strong tile workmanship and attention to detail on floors, showers, and backsplashes, with several noting good communication and pride in craft. Some recent feedback reports scheduling issues and incomplete follow-through on broader repair work. Customers who had tile-specific projects frequently mention precise results and clean finishes. Overall sentiment is positive but mixed on timeliness and scope execution.

Have been coordinating a plan with Ryon for a backyard ADU for my family and I so my dad could move here and we could care for him in his older years, potentially renting it out after his passing. Maybe our two girls could use it when they are older. The options are plentiful. It’s rough out there in these times/market. So trying to make best use of the space we already have. We were to meet Saturday 5/2/26 at noon, but he had to reschedule as he had supplies to run to myrtle pointe for his crew. No big deal. I get it things come up. We rescheduled to the very next day 5/3/26 at noon. I tailored my morning and practically day for this meet up and planning time as I was playing single parent as my wife had to work. About 1 pm rolls around and nothing. I reach out to Ryon and he said that he totally forgot. Even after scheduling the day prior and already cancelling on me the day before. Maybe he wasn’t taking my project seriously or maybe he just needs some extensive training on communication, first impressions and professionalism. Why would I entrust my time and hard earned money on an establishment as such? My search/plan continues. Beware of broken plans and unfulfilled commitments. Talk is talk and text is text. Action, showing up and collaboration is what I value.

Hired to fix dry rot. Paid half down and nothing done for over a month until I complained. Then job wasn't completed as discussed. Now three months after repair, caulking is failing and the project was never painted, whether primed or not. If you want a good dose of sarcasm, call Ryon, who has no idea what my experience in the construction business is but was happy to "school me." Visit their office sometime. Looks like an abandoned rental. Should have been a red flag.

Clarence George (Clay) on CARTER FAMILY GENERAL CONTRACTOR

I recently had Carter Family Tile and Stone complete a remodel on my house, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, reliable, and incredibly skilled. They worked with me to ensure my vision was brought to life, offering great suggestions and ideas along the way.
The tile work, in particular, was impeccable, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner of the house. They were punctual, always communicated well, and kept the project on schedule. I was impressed by their cleanliness and how well they managed the space during the work.

Subway Tile Kitchen Backsplash

It's not often that a contractor is skilled, professional, organized, and easy to communicate with personally or with the job focus. Ryon is all of these. He is personally committed to precise detail and excellence with everything he does. His assistant Desiree (who did the grout work) was also an outstanding team member. The finished product was beyond our expectation- very satisfied!

I hired Carter Family Tile and Stone to put in a tile floor and tile tub surround. Ryon was great to work with. He takes a lot of pride in his craft and goes the extra mile to produce a quality product and add value. I will definitely be calling Ryon the next time we need any tile work done.
