I switched over to dealing with LBH about 7 years ago for the supplies to run my business and I have never looked back. The staff there truly go above and beyond for their clients in a way that is rare to find anymore. Their customer service is consistently exceptional — not just friendly, but genuinely invested in helping your business succeed. Marcel, in particular, has stepped up for me countless times. He has even come in on his day off to make sure my supplies were cut and ready for pickup, treating my client deadlines with the same urgency and care as if they were his own. That level of dedication is few and far between these days and speaks volumes about his work ethic and the pride he takes in supporting his customers. Debbie is fantastic in paints and has an incredible memory for the products and colours I use — often remembering what I need better than I do. She’s knowledgeable, attentive, and always willing to spend the extra time to make sure I leave with exactly the right materials. Everyone at LBH St. Albert delivers service that is personal, proactive, and consistently top-tier. I can’t say enough good things about them, and if I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would.

I went in there looking for a part to fix the jammed spring snap in my stroller, and although they didn't have the part, they ended up pulling out the jammed piece! Love this store and the customer service! I always try to come and support local.

The staff are friendly. Jojo, Marcelle, and Lori always say hello whenever I come in. If I am unsure where something is, I'm not just directed to the aisle, someone personally sees that I find it by coming with me. I was installing a retaining wall last year and the quality of the wood was far superior to the same products offered at the big box stores. LBH is a very welcoming business. Other hardware stores could take a page from their book in customer service.
