Customers often praise the helpful in-store guidance, especially when choosing tile, carpet, and padding. Many mention professional, courteous installers who keep work areas clean and stick to the stated timeline. A few reviews highlight thorough cleanup and removal of old flooring. There is an isolated complaint about communication and expectations around moving furniture.
I had carpet installed from Sean, the process was quick and easy. Very professional, helpful and friendly. He also assisted with my kitchen backsplash and tile floor. I’m very happy with everything! I highly recommend Reemsnyder!
Sean and his team at Reemsnyder did an amazing job in helping us pick out the right tile for our space and provide a quality installation! The folks who came out to do the installation were courteous and professional, and they were great with having three little kids watching their every move. We love the new space and will be sure to use them again for future projects. Highly recommend!!
We recently had our 2nd floor carpeting replaced by Reemsneyder Decorating, and loved the results! The process could not have been easier! Sean helped us choose the right pad and carpeting, laid out a timeline for completion, and followed through. His team of expert craftsman removed our old carpeting and pad, and replaced it with new in just two days! They even took away the scraps and vacuumed when they were finished. We felt very well taken care of and would recommend Reemsnyder Decorating to everyone. Thanks so much!
So impressed! He came out to look at my house and brought multiple samples to show me and gave me several ideas. Installation was flawless! The hard wood and carpet look beautiful! Very professional and I would highly recommend.
In summary, the company lacked creditability, communication, and workmanship. Further discussion of the situation is outlined below. When talking in our initial conversation when Mike from REEMSNYDER took our measurements, we asked if moving the furniture was something that needed to be done. During this conversation, he mentioned that the items we had were not going to be a big deal and that you all would have it handled. This included two beds, the bed frames, and a few misc smaller items. Reemsnyder communicated that when having their team remove the carpet, all of the nails / staples would be removed, and this was a selling point for us to their team to do the removal work. These two points are items we communicated with the company and agreed upon prior to the ordering of the carpeting.Once our carpet arrived, this went downhill fast. No one called to discuss how and when they would need access to the residence prior to beginning work on the first day. I had to personally call the office to confirm the appointment and discuss the access timing and instructions on the day prior to the work starting. On the actual first work day, I had to speak with the installer directly, given he couldn't get into the house because my communication with the office never made it to the installers. At the end of day 1, the installer and I talked through if anything needed to be moved in the area that he was working and he confirmed that it would be helpful to have the bed in the upstairs room (smaller one) moved and so we moved the bed out of the area and stood the frame up.As part of this discussion with the installer at the end of day 1, he didn't have a clue what the schedule was, which was specific in our case because we had other contractors scheduled to arrive once they were finished. As part of our specific scheduling when working with Mike, we asked that carpet in the main area be removed on Day 3 (the final day) as we were not having new carpet put in the main area. This main area carpet on level 1 was removed on Day 2. The place was also left a mess by the installers with a ton of removed staples on the floor and loose tack strips. If you have little kids or dogs, I would not suggest getting work performed by reemsnyder for this reason alone. After seeing tack strips and quite a few staples left in the floor on Day 3, I called the office to ask if the plan was to have me to remove these tackstrips, staples and nails and the individual mentioned that someone would come out on Day 4, which was the start of my hardwood flooring install. The gentleman showed up to remedy the situation and was there for less than 5 minutes before leaving, and the job was again incomplete. We got the excuse of clothing items being in the way after the fact. With the job incomplete, I had to personally remove staples, nails, and tack strips where our hardwood flooring was being installed to not delay their process. I then emailed Mike and asked if there was any sort of discount for me needing to complete the job and I was met with backlash and almost bullied with Mike saying "can you remind me all of the furniture that we moved". This was unprofessional given our initial agreed upon discussion mentioned above.Fast forward to a couple of weeks later, we installed new vents where the new carpet was laid and noticed that old padding was not replaced. Additionally, we noticed that the installers scrapped up our stair balaster pretty badly and tried to cover it up.Overall, I wouldn't suggest using reemsynder for any flooring work that needs to be done. If you do, be sure to take the days off work so that you can supervise the installers and make sure they are not destroying your walls/balasters and are actually putting down new product. Also, make sure everything is in writing, including any services they are providing.
