We hired Heather to replace carpeting with hardwood floors in three of the rooms in our new house. Heather was very responsive from the start and even moved her schedule to accommodate  us (as we were coming from out of the state). Her initial assessment was very thorough and she spent a great deal of time explaining the process and planning with us.

She also matched the exact type and make of the hardwood floor to the rest of the house without any issues, which was impressive considering the overall shortage of building materials during this time period.

The workmanship was excellent and her team was very dedicated and fast. Since we were out of state, Heather came by our house multiple times during the work to inspect and give us updates and send pictures.

Our new floors are pretty much perfect and three months on, we have seen absolutely zero issues (this is a very different experience from our previous new construction house, where our builder had several spots of unevenness that needed to be fixed).

On the pricing side, Heather was very reasonable, especially given the rising cost of building materials. She also charged us very reasonably on labor for what was clearly a highly skilled team (the team was led by Jose).

Finally, Heather was a great person to interact with. She was smart, engaged, fun and interesting.

We would readily recommend Heather and her team based on our experience and would definitely use them again.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Flooring Nerd. They recently finished a project replacing the carpet and padding in over 3,000 sqft of my home. They replaced it with beautiful stain proof carpeting that I didn't know existed before this! Before the work began John came out to my house and showed me tons of samples! This was huge for me because I've been wanting to get this project done for a long time, but never have time to go to any floor stores. I appreciated being able to see the samples in my home's lighting. The carpet came in way ahead of schedule, the job was quick, and they stuck to the price I was quoted at the beginning. The installers were trustworthy and professional. I had no problem leaving them to work in my home while I was at work. I would certainly use Flooring Nerd again, although with this amazing new carpet they installed, I don't think I'll need to any time soon!

I had Flooring Nerd epoxy my garage floor in August. The process was quick and easy, with amazing results. I called John on a wednesday, he came out to see my space and give me samples and options the next day, and had the job scheduled for that Saturday. At the end of the job, he came in the morning and afternoon to make sure everything was up to his high standards and answered all of my questions. Based on attention to detail, personalized service, quick turn around and fair pricing, I definitely look forward to working with Flooring Nerd in the future.

Flooring nerds did a great job! Highly recommended!
John came out and measured everything and brought a bunch of samples. We told him we were just shopping around and on a budget. We got quotes from all other places even home depot. They beat them all. John even went tile shopping for us to find a great tile at the perfect price. Then when tile came in and they started John was right there to make sure everything started smoothly and all the tile pieces matched up size and color wise. Even the workers were very considerate and helpful. Being a teacher I always ask questions to learn more and they were so helpful even down to the golf ball tile test. Love how this company really made you feel like a valued customer and even more like family. Wonderful job for sure.

I found out about Floor Coverings International through Google. I searched and investigated three companies. Got some quotes but by far this one was the best. With other companies you have to pay for movers and a plumber to hook back up your toilet and appliances, but Floor Coverings did everything. I didn't have to do or pay for anything except the flooring.

I selected a new product from Armstrong. It's engineered vinyl. It's the best! It's flexible, water proof and you literally could skate on it! I had foundation issues last year so a floor that is flexible is a big plus. Also, in Houston Texas being waterproof is the bomb!

I had my entire house done with this flooring and it only took them four days to complete, which included them hooking back up the toilet and other appliances. And the best of all, was the price. It's a lot cheaper then tile.

It's been almost a year now since I got my new floors and I still love them. Not one compliant. They did a great job. I have recommended them to all my friends.

Also, all of their employees are insured so if they get hurt on-the-job, it doesn't come out of your home owner's insurance. Their crew us knowledgable, fast and efficient.

I can highly recommend this company.
