Extremely grateful for Shawna’s expert advice with our recent purchase at A1Flooring. The area rug she helped us select is just perfect for the space and for our family. She also helped us find a great cleaning product for our bamboo flooring. Bona brings the shine back. Thanks Shawna!
I regret to say that my experience with A1 Flooring has been nothing short of a nightmare. Two years ago, I purchased click flooring from them and was advised by the salesperson - prior to installation - that I should lay the floor down first and then put the cabinets on top for the installers convenience. Trusting their recommendation, I went ahead and did just that.Fast forward just a year and half to two years later, and to my dismay, the flooring started to buckle. When I reached out for assistance, instead of taking responsibility, A1 has turned the blame on me for installing the cabinets atop the floor, despite their own guidance. Now they are asking me to pay for the new flooring to repair the mess created by their product and installation recommendation. This whole experience has left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I work hard for my money, and having to shell out more money for a mistake that I believe is on their end feels incredibly unjust. It’s hard not to feel cheated especially after making the decision to pay extra for a subfloor to take the extra step to protecting our investment. If you’re considering A1 Flooring, I strongly advise you to think twice. Save yourself the headache and your hard earned money.
Fast and speedy to get the job done. Responsive when needed. They charged us an addional fee as they had to do more work than was quoted. No issue here - however it was an additional $500. No one asked if this was okay, or even advised us until the job was done. I feel anything over $100 the customer should be aware.
We recently had our flooring installed in living area and bathrooms! Can’t say enough with the excellent service from Andrew and Dan and Alex! We will definitely be using them again when we replace stairwell carpet and bedroom carpets in the New Year!??
HORRIBLE experience with A1 and will never recommend to anyone or ever be back for business. We wanted a simple basement carpet install. The whole process took 3 months, 3 different installers and 3 different underpads to even remotely do a decent job and it still isn't great. Installers left messes and staples everywhere. They didn't even have proper tools with them and the one Said he doesn't even carry a vacuum with him. Unable to properly cut the metal strip transition piece leaving it sharp, with gaps and downright unsafe multiple times. Very rude as well when confronted about this work. The Stairs were left the same as the other review noted, lifted on sides and hard spots. Full corners weren't even properly down. The whole thing was a disaster and very disappointing. Wasted 3 months of our time and unable to use our space properly.
