I had this company for two of my homes in whitby. The first was laminate in a 2300 sq foot home and I loved it to the very day we sold the house. We just put in luxury vinyl in our bungalow and the two installers were amazing. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. ( I never met the last two installers but the job was perfect-11 yrs ago) Thank you David (owner) for providing us high quality flooring at an amazing price, your instillation took team are the best!

We have recently purchased some Stone vinyl plank flooring and our sales person was Fred. We had been to other stores looking at flooring but as soon as we started having a conversation with Fred, we knew that’s where we wanted to purchase. He was knowledgable and not at all pushy and was very accommodating. He made sure we understood the product and showed us how the stairs would be made and by the time we left the store after paying for the product, we felt very confident that this was the store we wanted to deal with. Purchased the floor for our second floor and also purchased and had Canada flooring install the carpet on our stairs. David was professional and easy to work with throughout the whole process. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Canada Flooring & Rugs, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased some flooring from them and, due to a miscalculation on my part, ended up with a few extra boxes. Little did I know, this would be the beginning of a customer service horror story. When I contacted the store to inquire about the possibility of returning the excess boxes, I was met with a shocking level of disrespect. The representative not only refused to accept the return but also had the audacity to insinuate that I bought the product on Kijiji with the intention of making money off it. Seriously? For a mere $150? I attempted to explain that I was simply trying to support a local business and had no ulterior motives. However, my pleas fell on deaf ears. The lack of respect for a paying customer was truly disheartening. I've never encountered such a dismissive and accusatory attitude from a business before. It's disheartening to see a business that claims to be local and customer-oriented treating its patrons with such disdain. I understand that policies exist, but there's a way to enforce them without accusing loyal customers of unethical behavior. Needless to say, I will never recommend Canada Flooring & Rugs to anyone, and I regret ever trying to support what turned out to be a horribly disrespectful establishment. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your flooring needs. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential customers to avoid wasting their time and money on Canada Flooring & Rugs. There are undoubtedly better options available that prioritize customer respect and satisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this regrettable establishment
