We had Hallmark Flooring do carpet for our three bedrooms and stairs (19 stairs total). Frank and Soop helped us in the shop and were great to deal with. We actually went back a few days after choosing a carpet thinking we might change our minds. They were patient, showed us more options, and in the end we went with our first choice. Their quote came in about the same as another company, but the other place was offering a lower quality carpet. For the same brand and model the other quote would have been almost $3,000 more.Frank and his crew did the install. They were always on time, worked full days, and kept everything clean. They laid down pads to protect our floors and vacuumed each room as they went. They also had a good plan to do the master bedroom and hallway on the first day so we always had a place to sleep while the work was happening.The carpet looks great and feels exactly how we hoped. They even fixed a bad squeak on the stairs and sorted out some big height differences between the bedroom and bathroom floors. Overall we’re really happy we chose Hallmark and would definitely recommend them.
It was time to replace our very old tired carpet. We decided on laminate flooring. On the suggestion of Frank we went with carpet on the stair treads to avoid us old folks slipping and we were very happy with the results. Old carpet and underlay was removed and the laminate installed in a timely manner. There was a delay with the shipping of the flooring from back east. Supkhua, Mike and Frank were all professional and pleasant to deal with. We'll get them back when it's time to do the bedrooms.PS: After the painters were here we found a small puncture in one of the laminate boards. They were willing to pay to replace the board but it would have been a hassle and more delay to getting our house back together. Sup promptly popped by on his own time and filled in and fixed up the blemish without having to replace the board - above and beyond service!
