My family hired Puma Hardwood Flooring for a second time. We had a great experience with Juan and Puma Hardwood Flooring from before, so we knew we wanted them to work on this project. For this second job, the landing/entryway to the family house had cracked tiles that we had been covering with small rugs until we were able to get the area fixed. Because of the cracked tiles, it didn't always feel steady or particularly safe for my elderly in-laws to walk on. Juan and his staff were professional, friendly, understanding, and transparent about every step of the project. I explained to Juan that we had a tight schedule to get it done, and he worked very hard to make sure it was completed on time, including over the weekend and late hours, which we greatly appreciated. He takes a lot of pride in his work, is very careful and attentive to detail, and the level of his skills show. Juan is responsive and communicative which means a lot when you're trying hard to schedule something within a tight timeframe and trying to understand the logistics of a project. After removing the old tiles and examining the subfloor, Juan recommended that the subfloor be replaced- he showed me why and explained the reason behind replacing it. It made sense as it was very old, cracked, and not very solid. He replaced the sub floor also. They made sure the rest of the house was protected from dust and debris and even helped me bring daily lunch to my older in-laws who had to stay in a different part of the house every day as the work was done. The new wood floor looks amazing. It matches the floors around it, is very solid, and is finally completely safe to walk on again. I would strongly recommend Puma Hardwood Flooring to anyone, and if my family needed more wood flooring work we would definitely call Juan.

Highly recommend. Juan is clearly a perfectionist and does beautiful work. He and his team helped remove a very old carpet in my bedroom and refinished the hardwood floors in the bedroom and living area. They also replaced some boards that were very damaged from age. I went with the early American stain and matte finish. What an upgrade! Communication was great and Juan was very respectful of my time which I appreciate.Attached are some before and afters, they look even more beautiful in person.
