Ryan was extremely polite and helpful. Although the door part has to be ordered and he adjusted the springs in the garage door. It was much appreciated. I received the part that I needed to replace, and Ryan came and quickly repaired the garage door opener. Thank you, Ryan.
After examining the door situation ie the door was closed, would not open electronically, Ryan, the technician, ascertained the cable on one side of the door needed tightening and the spring would need re-torquing.He completed the process, sprayed movable metallic parts with oil and finished the operation by testing the door.Ryan was easy to get along with and was polite.

My first contact with Dodds was for service to fix my garage door. They were extremely prompt, and efficient in getting my old door operable again. I was so pleased with the experience that I then considered Dodds for a new door and received a prompt quote and consultation. My new door and opener was installed a week ago and Ryan did an excellent job explaining exactly what the process was and everything went very smoothly with his installation. Dodds is very organized and communicated clearly with me during the whole process. A stress free experience even in our frigid weather.

Finished a 3 star.1) Initial sales - fantastic, great communication, competitive pricing, aggressive timelines.2) delivery & install team - fantastic, truly, install team was competent, skilled and thorough and polite.3) capping and finish - unfortunately this is where everything fell apart. Communication, I got ignored for the most part by my sales guy, promised timelines disappeared. Ultimately had to request to be released from last part of contract to find my own aluminum capping team.Company didn’t seem to care, they got 95% of their money and after that I couldn’t get any reliable follow ups.Truthfully, based on what Dodds charged for basic aluminum capping work go elsewhere. Their mark up must be close to 100% on capping. I got it done professionally with a receipt for half.Ultimately based on 4 quotes I got I paid a premium to Dodds for the convenience of taking the job from start to finish and I didn’t get that. So tough to give anything more than 3 star.
