The owner Kevin was very responsive and informative. He answered my questions and won my business from Action, who did not answer my questions when I called them first. My door broke that morning and the window they gave me was 10am to noon. The tech Scott was there on-time, and worked efficiently to replace the broken springs. He also noticed the broken hinges that were there when Action had replaced the springs the last time that I hadn't realized were broken (I just thought they were like that, lol). Scott replaced the hinges with heavier ones and lubed and serviced everything on the door. To boot, they give a 10 year warranty on the springs so if they break again I'll only pay a service charge. Upon hearing this I wondered if I may have passed up an opportunity to have Action cover this under warranty so I called them to ask. They said my springs were replaced in 2022 and they only warranty springs for 2 years. Ultimately, that is exactly what I wanted to hear to know I had made the right choice. The job was done above and beyond, for cheaper, and I'm covered for longer. Kevin and Garage Door Store were referred to me by another company who I've trusted for a decade to service my house and they didn't disappoint! Would 100% recommend!
