I hired this vendor to purchase and install a Wayne Dalton garage door, and the overall experience was frustrating and not worth the hassle. First, getting details about door designs, colors, and durability was like pulling teeth. The vendor was a dealer for Wayne Dalton but knew very little and had to constantly reach out to the supplier for basic information. It made the selection process unnecessarily complicated.

The installation process was another letdown. I was told it would be a one-day job, but the crew didn’t finish on the first day. Worse, when they “finished,” I noticed a gap between the door and the wall—something they hadn’t caught themselves. If I hadn’t pointed it out, they wouldn’t have sent anyone to fix it the next day.

The biggest issue was with the final payment. After I handed over the check, they processed it twice. When I reached out, their accounting team couldn’t locate the issue, leaving me to file a claim with my bank to reverse the duplicate transaction.

Overall, the final product is basic, and the entire experience was painful. The only saving grace was Taylor, who provided excellent customer service and genuinely tried her best to help. Without her efforts, this would have been a 1-star experience.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this vendor.

On Friday night of the holiday weekend (New Year's) my garage door suddenly wasn't opening. This is our primary means to enter/exit our home and I haven't had work/maintenance on it since moving in 17 years ago. I called the local number on Saturday for Nor-Cal Overhead and requested emergency service, I was immediately connected with Bill.

He understood my issue quickly and gave me a clear expectation of what the repair likely would require and the associated cost. He ensured I was aware of the incremental costs for the emergency service, so I could make an informed decision.

Bill arrived at the scheduled time (same day service) and not only completed the repair, but performed an overall inspection of the door. He walked me through his observations explaining in detail where there were areas of concern and why, and also where things were looking good. I elected to take some of the recommendations for preventative maintenance and he completed that work in the same visit.

My door is working great. Thanks to Bill, I feel confident that the repairs and maintenance will extend the useful life of my garage door. The same day service was awesome, it helped minimize the impact to my family. Thanks!!
