So the garage door opener failed. Literally smoked. It was 32 years old after all. Called Colman at Phillips Overhead (we have used their services in the past). He came out and inspected / tested our unit. He provided us with several solutions. He came out the next day and in only a few hours had our unit replaced and “up and running”. He is an excellent contractor, prompt and with reasonable rates. We highly recommend his services when you have a garage door problem.

After a disappointing experience with another company that quoted us $12,000 and claimed my garage door was no longer made and i would need to replace both, I decided to get a second opinion.

Keep in mind only one of my doors was damaged in the storm the other was fine.

I called Phillips, and they showed me the truth. My door was still in production, and I didn’t need to buy two new doors. They even offered to repair my current door.

Thank goodness I got a second, professional opinion from this company. They helped me save thousands of dollars by being honest.

They showed up on time and completed my garage door repair quickly and efficiently.
