March 2026 - I had a snapped spring and reached out to Calgary Garage Door Fix on a Sunday. I spoke to a gentleman named Kyle who was polite and said he would do his best to have a tech come out today, but it could be the following day which I understood as it was a weekend. I got a call back from Kyle shortly after saying a tech will be by later.

I met the tech who introduced himself as Gage and he was very helpful. He definitely had a strong command for his craft and my particular issues and also recognized some other vulnerabilities that I agreed with. Speaking to him I had also learned that this was his day off, but he took the job as I live in Cochrane, and so did he.. so in his mind it made more sense to clock in and save a Calgary colleague from travelling out for the job.

Gage was quick, friendly and loads of information. I felt he was genuine in his recommendations and just overall comes off as a friendly and approachable guy. I'd have invited him in for a beer after, had we both not needed to attend back to our families.

I am very satisfied with the responsiveness and service I received. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I know that encounters an issue with their garage/overhead doors.

I called earlier in the day and Kyle answered right away. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and able to schedule me the same day, accommodating my availability since I was working.

Yuri arrived right on time around 5 PM and quickly assessed the problem. My garage door wouldn’t close, and I initially thought it was just a sensor issue, but it turned out the entire system needed replacement. Yuri was very honest and clearly showed me the damage. He was also transparent about their pricing compared to other companies.

He worked efficiently, carefully, and with great attention to detail. On top of that, he was approachable and friendly throughout the whole process.

Like many others have said here, they truly deserve a 5-star review. Highly recommend!

Following the holiday season, our garage door unfortunately malfunctioned. We contacted numerous repair companies, and we were fortunate to discover Calgary Garage Door Fix. Their pricing is reasonable, and most importantly, they arrived to perform the repair within an hour. Gage was exceptionally friendly and clearly explained the benefits of converting to a new system compared to our old one. We are certainly pleased with our decision to entrust them with the repair.
