Extremely disappointed in Garage Door Doctors. I had my new power unit installed. First time leaving the garage they door will not close, called into the office to seek some sort of troubleshooting. The front office advised they could not help. Was advised management would be able to help. No management came to the phone. I was then given the advice that I would have to wait for a tech to become available (upwards of a 2 hour wait).I was leaving my house for an appointment, I was simply asking for ways to trouble shoot and close the door so I could make my appointments. Front office offered absolutely no assistance in closing the garage door. They did charge my credit card on time though. So I guess they can take the money, just not help fix the issues.I had to ask a neighbor to help close the door and I will be contacting another company to troubleshoot the issue.Extremely disappointed that the front office solution was to simply wait a few hours....absolutely no respect for customers time or need to make appointments. Pay topdollar for service, but once check clears, NO SERVICE.
Great job! Super responsive. Had an emergency and they were able to come out the same day! Very friendly tech and very knowledgeable. Worked to get me the most cost effective solution.
We have used Garage Door Doctor twice and both times have been great! Tyler was our technician both times and he was very thorough and took his time explaining everything to us. Exceptional Experience: I have an 11.5 foot ceiling in my 1968 trilevel, and I wanted to take advantage of the extra room. Jared and Brian did a custom install of a high rail system with my existing door and got me within inches of my ceiling. I can now install a lift for car storage. The entire experience from estimate through installation was outstanding.And, I must add, Jared demonstrated some of the best interpersonal skills I’ve seen from a provider. Also, I love to ask questions, because I want to know why/how things work. Brian & Jared both clearly love to teach. They not only showed great patience with me, but they both took the time to teach me how my new garage door was being installed and will function, as a high-rail door. For a retired mechanical engineer, this was a little bit of heaven :-)
