I scheduled a $29 tuneup with A1 Garage Doors, not expecting to need more than that. Isaak arrived on time and was very personable and efficient. He found that the person who had replaced my door springs about 10 years ago had installed the incorrect type of springs for my door. Isaak showed me how the door was causing too much downward force and explained why in a way that made sense. I had him install the correct springs. I also had the bottom weather strip replaced since it was dry and cracked. Overall, I was pleased and impressed with Isaak’s willingness to explain everything he was doing and his customer service skills. I would use them again and recommend to friends. Good job, Isaak.

Valpack users be aware! The coupon that shows a 29.99 tune up special is not the price they will charge you for service. There is also a, legally shown in small text but intentionally obscured and hidden, 60 dollar fee to come to your house to provide the service.

The representatives who did come to my home were also incredibly abrasive, dismissive and rude. Told me it was a waste of my money to do a tune up as my door was so old it should just be replaced. I did not ask for any information on it but their repeated pushy attempts at me to replace were only stopped when I had become openly agitated. They then called their boss as a scare tactic to attempt to have me replace the door. The boss did not sound remotely invested either way.

Also, I made my appointment via their online chat bot service where I told information there was important to the inspection that was not logged or able to be referenced by the employee. I had taken screenshots of the chat fearing that this would happen and was sadly proven correct.

Would recommend any other service other than this rude and clearly predatory business and their practice. They sprayed a lube on a few gears and then spent the rest of their time switching between upselling me or shaming me assuming I would be unprepared.

Happy to provide more information for those invested but overall I could not recommend this company less.

Isaak and Henry were great. They diagnosed the issue with my old system and gave me plenty of options for a replacement that will last. While I know other options exist that might be less expensive, I appreciate that A1 had all the stuff they needed to replace my system this afternoon and they stayed to help me set up my car remote and the app!

Had a great experience with A1! Our garage door was struggling to open, so I booked an appointment online. Damian came out and did a full inspection, discovering that our old springs couldn't handle the door's load anymore. He gave us a reasonable quote for the replacement and even caught a few other minor issues before they became big problems. Damian was incredibly knowledgeable and taught me a lot about the importance of routine maintenance. I’ll definitely be calling A1 for all our future needs.
