A very professional and have very good prices. They're doing my work on Monday to replace some garage door keypads, price is very reasonable. There are good people. Thank you. James Griffin, 5 minutes.
Alex came out and quickly assessed the situation. He knew exactly what the problem was and quickly went about fixing it. His expertise kept the cost lower than I had expected. His efficiency got it resolved very quickly. He also took the time to ensure all of the rollers were in good condition and the motor was not under stress. Will definitely call again when I need service.
Pleased that OGD is my garage door service provider. The afternoon before our recent weather storm event I found I needed repair service. My phone call was answered promptly, and the service call was scheduled for the following morning The technician arrived on time and provided thorough and thoughtful repairs. Very professional demeanor. My decision to call OGD was a good one.
---Title: Price Gouging Alert! IMOI had an extremely disappointing experience with Overhead Door Garage Company. They quoted me over $1,000 for a repair that I researched thoroughly, and found should only cost between $400 and $600. It was astounding that they thought I would accept such an outrageous price. To add insult to injury, the technician suggested that he could call his boss to potentially get me a better deal, which clearly indicates that he knew he was overcharging. They also charged me to even come out and diagnose the problem, which is appalling as well. He was trying to "fast talk" me and I knew it and of course, I didn't blink. That whole interaction reaked of price gouging, and I suspect they may do this to many customers. It felt as if they were banking on the assumption that I would agree simply because I am a woman, but I am well-informed and take the time to do my research before allowing anyone to work on my home. I ultimately had the work done and it was less than half of what OGD quoted.I hope this review helps others avoid being taken advantage of like I almost was. Be cautious and do your homework before engaging with this company. Overhead Garage Door Co.
I was given an 8am to 10am window at the work location which was an hour away for me, so i left the house early so i can get there before the technician. The guy shows up at 11:15am and didn’t even apologize when I told him I was waiting for hours! He straight face said his time was 10am, which is messed up because that wasted hours of my time, but he was still an hour and 15 minutes late by his own standard! To add insult to injury, he wanted to charge me $400 for a wireless keypad that’s $50 bucks online and can be programmed in a few minutes. I paid for the visit charge and declined the highway robbery. Stay clear of this company. Unprofessional and greedy.
