The spring broke on my garage door opening. It took my wife and I together to finally lift it up manually so we could get out of the garage! I needed it fixed AND we were leaving town early the next morning! I called Northgate Doors as soon as they opened- explained my problem. I waited anxiously while they (apparently) re-arranged someone’s schedule to ensure we could get the spring replaced before we left. I was called twice letting me know exactly when they would arrive. Two very pleasant fellows worked quickly. They were finished in less than an hour! We could now leave town knowing our garage door was working and secure.Before they left, they showed me how to keep it lubricated to help keep it working properly.I WAS SO PLEASED WITH THE CONCERN THEY SHOWED AND THE SPEED THEY TOOK TO TAKE CARE OF MY BROKEN SPRING!NORTHGATE DOORS IS THE BEST!
I had an appointment at 9:30 to get my garage doors serviced. I had a meeting 30 mins away in Cleveland and was going to return to meet the technician at 9:30 but my wife called and told me the technician was in our driveway at 8:20. I asked the lady at the office if he could come back at 9:30 and she said no, remember I had an appointment at 9:30! I wanted to be there to go over some problems my wife didn't know about. This was an inconvenience for me that they put me in. The customer service was terrible. NGD's said 9:30 and didn't honor it, period! This is the second time I've had a problem with them and another time I called to get a salesman to give me a quote and it was two weeks later before someone called back, I had already had one installed from another company. I bought a lot of garage doors from Steve, the father over the years and never had a problem. I guess the new generation don't care about customer service.You couldn't even get in the time frame! I believe I will shop elsewhere because based on your previous reviews you've done this to others. About my language ,why don't you employ people that's not so rude and hateful on the phone?Matt,Please tell everyone that's reading these posts that your company did NOT meet the time frame between 9:30 and 11:00, just be honest! You showed up 1 hr and 10 minutes ahead of the time frame and since I wasn't there you thought it was ok. I really hope you understand what a time frame means and why you give it.
