Mid day mid week I called Phillips Garage Door Service because our garage door was stuck in closed position. They answered my call 2 hours sooner than their ETA. They were professional completing replacement of parts required and a demonstration of work completed.Thank you Phillips!
My garage door opener was acting up so I called the Garage Door Company that advertises heavily on TV. They didn’t charge me a Service call fee. They determined the opener was old and couldn’t be repaired. They said a new one would be between $1100 and $1600.I mentioned this to my sister and she recommended. I called Phillips garage door company. They charged me a $99 service fee. A nice gentleman came out. And was able to fix my old opener in less than a half hour. The charge was less than $100. I would highly recommend Phillips garage door company to anyone who has a problem with their garage door.
Hands down 5 star company! Office staff and techs are the industry standard! From first contact the transparency and understanding of this team was unbeatable. Phillips was contracted through our home warranty company after Aces Garage door failed miserably and tried to scam us. Phillips came in and saved the day! Our garage door required a conversation the team gave me a realistic price and sent the spring cost to the warranty company. I wish all home warranty companies contracted this team first! Huge thank you to this team for taking care of our door that was broken for 30 days. Fixed in hours! Thank you!
PLEASE READ TO THE END.(FYI: I rarely leave reviews)I contacted Phillips Garage Door because my garage door would sometimes reverse when closing, I had concluded the torsion springs were weak and needed to be replaced. I called at 11:30am and was given a 12pm - 3pm window (that day) for the technician to arrive. At 12:15pm Mike (the owner) arrived and made an assessment. The springs didn’t need replacing, just a slight turn of the down force adjustment knob solved the problem. He lubed the unit and was getting ready to leave when he heard something when closing the door, one of the garage door panels was flexing which leads to splitting if not corrected. I want to reiterate that Mike “heard” the problem first and then determined which panel was flexing which for me, showed me he was an expert in his field. We scheduled an appointment to install a brace and he left with no “service call” charge. The technicians he sent out to brace my garage door were very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. It’s very rare in our society to be treated with such honesty and integrity from a business. Mike could’ve replaced my springs for $375 and then another $180 to brace my garage door, but he didn’t. He advised and only fixed what was necessary, not what made him the most money.I’m sure there are some good garage door companies out there but Phillips Garage Door isn’t just good, they are BEYOND OUTSTANDING.If you want to experience a knowledgeable company with outstanding honesty and integrity, call Phillips Garage Door.
Philips Garage Door saved me at least $1000 when my garage door came off track, bent things, and got jammed. Unlike the garage door company the home warranty place sent over initially, Philips didn’t take advantage of the situation by price gauging and saying it’s not fixable. They worked within my small budget (less than $200) replaced a couple of parts, and it’s been smooth ever since! I can’t thank them enough…from the scheduling clerk, the owner, and the professional that came after hours to help.
