The garage springs on our double door garage failed during the January 2026 cold snap. We reached out to the vendor and received an immediate response with proposed dates for the repair to our garage door.We scheduled the door service with a two hour window, they did not show up at the end of the two hour window so I had to call and find out what happened to the technician. Again, a call back Was within 10 minutes. We rescheduled for the following day and the work was done by a competent technician at a fair pricePros: responsive customer service. Technician was professional and had clear communications regarding cost estimate, scope of work, additional parts required for the repair, and work progress.Cons: No communication initiated by the vendor when the technician was not going to show up within schedule time. The spring on our garage door broke today. The existing one was over 9 years old and gets a lot of use, so it was about due for maintenance anyway. A Team Garage Doors sent out a tech the same day (there was bit of a communication problem, and he arrived later than I expected). He quickly evaluated the situation and recommended a door overhaul, which included a new spring, new bearings, cables and door track wheels. I knew these things were needed, as the garage door was making quite a bit of noise (the opener is a belt drive, which are normally very quiet). The work was completed in around an hour. Our garage door should now be good for another decade. I'm taking one star off due to the miscommunication on the tech's arrival time. This should've been handled up front by the company; I ended up calling to find out where the tech was. Fortunately I was at home and didn't have anything else to do. In summary I'm happy with quality of the work and the fact that A Team Garage Doors was able to get everything done the same day.
A TEAM is a great choice! Patrick and Ricardo were wonderful to work with, did a fantastic job helping us make decisions on two garage doors for the barn and one garage door for the house. They were both very responsive when asked for updates. Ricardo framed in the openings for the barn and installed all three doors right around Christmastime. What a great gift! The doors look amazing, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We will definitely refer to all we know needing garage doors. Highly recommend!
