I needed springs replaced on my garage door opener. After contacting Champion Garage Door Repair, I was greeted by Tal, who I guess was the owner. I told him what I needed to get serviced and he quoted me a price upon request over the phone. We setup a time that his repair technician could come by, which was the following day. He told me that he would call me prior to arriving.As promised, Tal called me 30 minutes prior to arrival. The repair technician, Omar, arrived on time as promised. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and very skilled. He asked if I wanted to get both springs replaced even though only one was broken and I told him, yes. I'd rather get it replaced at the same time to avoid future headaches. I watched him replace the springs and he discovered that the pulley brackets were also loose and worn out. I asked him to replace those as well. The service repair was done in about 1-1.5 hours. He lubed the door rollers, hinges, reset the garage door opener warnings since it sensed an abnormality in the door opening caused from the spring breaking (it's a smart garage door opener), and tested the door opening and closing a few times to make sure everything was operating correctly.Later that day, Tal called me to follow up and check on how the service and repair was. That follow up call speaks for itself - pure customer service! If your contractor for any service doesn't follow up and treat you with respect, you picked the wrong contractor. Our garage door broke today. Did a quick Google search for garage door repair service and saw that there were two Champion Garage Door Repair businesses nearby. Called them and they were able to get a guy to come out to diagnose the issue and then come back with the part for replacement, all within 3 hours from when I first called.The drive belt snapped because the torsion spring wasn’t tightened enough to hold the weight of the garage door. The drive belt part was $40. Labor included $250 for replacing the drive belt and $50 adjusting the torsion spring + lubrication. So altogether the total was $340. Overall, I’m happy with the quick turnaround and fix. I highlyrecommend Champion Garage Door Repair for any garage-related issues.
