We needed a new garage door opener as our was 32 years old. I contacted Aloha Overhead Garage Door and Sean from Metro Door arrived and was absolutely wonderful. Very professional, gave me a lot of information regarding maintenance etc that I never knew. He installed our super quiet new opener and equipment. I am sooo pleased with the opener and great light. Thank you so much this company is excellent.
Clint is awesome! I hit my garage door with the car lift gate and caused a nasty panel fracture. I’m remodeling and this garage door isn’t going to be needed in a few months, so I really wanted to avoid a new door or other expensive options. Clint knew exactly what to do to fix it given the circumstances. He was on time, professional, fixed it right there in about 30min, and even replaced a few wheels that were broken. The door works better than it did before the break! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an upstanding honest professional who isn’t going to oversell you.
Most professional people. Excellent work and quality product.Ryan J Goodwin and his partner installed a garage door for me today. Not only were they on time, polite, and knowledgeable. The work was completed in a timely manner and absolutely no mess left behind .they even had time to talk and make friends with my dog, which they gave treats to. Highly recommend.
Highly Recommend!I called in because my garage door wouldn't shut all the way after a rake handle got caught in it even after I adjusted the settings. They sent out Clint the next day who fixed it so fast. He also showed me that I wasn't even looking at the right dials on my older door opener! After fixing the settings and a loose roller that was actually holding the door up in the first place it was only a few minutes and he showed and explained to me each piece so I understood how to fix it myself if it ever happened again. It was so quick he didn't even charge us. Will definitely be going to this company again for anything garage door related!! Thank you so much!tl;dr Very highly recommend. They were fast, knowledgeable, taught me a bit and fixed the issue so fast they didn't even charge me.
The cable snapped on my garage door. My car is trapped inside. I called to see if I could afford the advertised emergency service. The prices aren't listed, but I will need to get to work on Monday morning. They charge for 2 hours minimum and extra since it was the weekend. It appears to be a simple repair, so I enthusiastically set up the appointment. After all the information had been exchanged and everything was set up, the technician told me the time I'm charged for isn't the time he is working on my garage door. I'm charged for the time he leaves his house. I thought that was fine since I had already agreed to a 2 hour minimum and it is a simple repair. Then he told me he lives in Vancouver and that's 45 minutes away, so it would be 1.5 hours in travel and only 30 minutes for the repair.I was a little confused because I called ALOHA garage door and I live 10 minutes from Aloha. I still thought it would be fine because I am hopeful the repair will be quick and easy. I'm optimistic that we can probably still do a repair in the 2 hours. Then he says if he can't he will need to charge more for every 15 minutes, and I ask what the price will be for each 15 minute increment. He says he doesn't know.At this point it's just awkward. I've agreed to the service call and the prices. I've given all my information. I'm excited to be freed from my garage. And he refuses to give me the price for the additional hours if it goes longer than two. (75% of which are his travel.) I'm getting the feeling that he just doesn't want to work today. I would obviously pay whatever I needed to, but refusing to disclose what that rate is seems a little uncomfortable.Signed,Still trapped in my garage
