Repairman came by my store to get home directions for the gasket repair. He noticed an old .22 rifle and checked it out. He then went to my house to replace the bottom door gasket. When he returned, he said that an expensive part (I don't remember which one) had quit working while he was there and he replaced it with a used part he had. He said he would swap the used part for my old gun. I knew what he was doing but could't prove it so I swapped. When I told the owner what happened, he did nothing. Customer service is non-existent as far as I'm concerned.
I had to replace my garage unit in 2016 and used Overhead Door of Jackson. It was same price as buying in store. But I would have to installed. I chose them to install and got warranty through them. Anyway called today and spoke with Shelley(hope is spelling correctly) and she gave me very critical information and answered all of the questions I had to save money and time. Unfortunately, they were backed up for a couple of months and I couldn't wait. Thanks Shelley for everything!!!
Very disappointed with this company. They originally installed my garage door in 2004 and I was very pleased. They had reasonable prices and fast service. I called a week and a half ago and requested some service. One of my springs had broken and I needed it replaced. I was told that Port Gibson was considered an out of town area, but they would set up a time to come and do the repairs. They were to call me back with an appointment time. I have yet to hear anything from them, so I assume they don't want my business. That's okay too. I found a very nice and reputable person in Vicksburg who came right on down and took care of my problem almost immediately. If you're like me and need garage door work done and live in or around the Vicksburg or Port Gibson area, call Nicolson Garage Door in Vicksburg. I highly recommend Nicolson's.
Worst experience I have ever encountered with a business. Called for someone to come out and service 2 industrial bay doors at my place of business and provide me with a quote on doing all of this work. 10 days go by after the inspection and no-one ever contacted me with this quote. I followed up to find out if there was a quote processed only to find out that the parts were ordered per the receptionist. As I explained to her that I have never spoken with anyone concerning the quote I was told by her that this wasn't part of her job and she couldn't do everything. Got a call back from a man notifying me of how much this job was going to cost and I gave them the go ahead. The worker shows up 4 days later as promised begins the job and leaves within 1 hour with parts hanging from my door. This was 8 days ago. I call and ask to speak with a manager or supervisor and my calls get screened. Great operation guys!!!
