Top-rated technician Darren Kasischke and his protégé, Jeff Roehm, arrived for a tune-up of my vintage, wood, two-car door, and further proved Don’s ratings. Nothing impresses and reassures me more than a knowledgeable, articulate and personable tech that answers every question I throw and teaches me things…like why my dinosaur door is a fossil and the harm that causes. (I can’t accept a lack of transparency, as I have paid dearly for it.)Darren gave my door a thorough once-over and recommended and completed roller replacement and spring tightening (in record time) to hold us until Don’s can install a new insulated, stainless steel door, offering many improvements and adding value to our home in the correct millennium. We recently had a mishap with our garage door. Upon shutting the door, the spring broke and our door dropped down about 2 feet from the ground. I tried to enable manual opening but alas the cables also lost tension and the door was not opening straight so was stuck. Trapping both my wife's and my car inside our garage in the process. Don's to the rescue. This happened on a Saturday night and through the ease and convenience of their online scheduling platform, we were able to get an appointment first thing Monday morning. We didn't deem it an emergency so didn't opt for a Sunday appointment. AJ was our tech and he was very pleasant, communicative, professional, and efficient. He asked great questions to determine the best equipment for our purposes, finding the right spring and associated parts for our garage and opener. He explained all the benefits of each price point completely. The job was completed in a couple of hours. While a little pricy, the work and coverages that came with it made the cost well worth it. I would highly recommend their services!
