Our initial contact with Quinn at the office was quick and helpful. Next day, our technician, Damien, provided great service!
He made multiple adjustments to components of our garage door system, and it's now working far better. He communicated clearly at each step of the process, so that we understood what he was doing, and why. He was diligent, conscientious, and friendly.
I'm always a bit skeptical when I see very high reviews. These people earn them!

I had A1 garage door service come out and repair my garage door spring system. Roscoe George was my technician, Roscoe was outstanding!!! Very friendly, very knowledgeable. He explained to me the differences between the damaged parts and the new installed parts. I couldn’t be any more happier with the Service that Roscoe provided.

Damien was great — he did everything he needed to do and was very easy to work with. He is not the reason for this one-star review. Damien himself would receive 5 stars.

The reason for the low rating is this company’s sales model. They sent a technician out to take measurements, then had him stand there while a salesperson named Corey tried to sell me a door over speakerphone using an iPad presentation. It felt awkward and unnecessarily drawn out.

The biggest issue was price. The initial quote for a garage door was nearly $7,000, which was more than double (and in some cases nearly triple) the three other quotes I received — including one from a big box store selling the same brand door locally.

By the end of the call, they offered to find a door in the $3,000–$4,000 range to try to earn my business, but even that was still considerably higher than competitors, and I was told it wouldn’t be a newly ordered door.

I’m not trying to bash anyone — just giving an honest experience. I’d encourage anyone considering them to really think about whether paying 2–3x the going rate is worth it. Personally, I’ll go with the smaller local company that actually showed up and handled the quote directly instead of routing everything through remote sales.

A1 Garage Door has good people in the field, but they really need to sharpen their pencils and rethink the sales approach.

Derek and Jazen were so professional, honest, and upfront. They worked extremely well together and were very efficient in getting my repair done. Derek explained all of my options clearly and was very detailed in how the estimate process would work. Cory was friendly and provided an accurate estimate to meet my needs as a customer. When I provided Cory with my financial goals and timeframe on the project, he immediately provided me with great options. The team provided me with an outstanding temporary solution and quick scheduling for the permanent solution.
