Great! The tension spring above my garage door had broken into two pieces, which rendered it useless. The technician from Car-Wal, who had a lifetime of experience as it turned out, came on time and as expected despite the poor highway conditions of snow and ice. He took off the broken spring from the axle, put a new one on, secured it, cranked it up to the proper tension and I was back in business in less than 40 minutes. A fair price also, considering the travel time, material, tools and know-how required to replace a garage door spring. Very professional and friendly. Will call Car-Wal again and strongly recommend. Thank you.
They showed up in the morning as it was mentioned, 20 minutes notice before arrival. The service tech was efficient and knowledgeable. Afterwards the tech went over some maintenance tips for the garage door. I have no problem recommending Car Wall to door residential garage doors.
Our garage doors were 40 years old and original to the house. Over the years we have dutifully painted them and painted the frame and replaced broken cables and broken springs.When we finally decided to replace the doors, there was always that question, “can we go one more year with the old ones?”We have had the new Garaga garage doors from Car-Wal and the side mounted garage door openers installed for about a month now.There has not been a single upgrade that we have done to our house that has caused my wife to say, “I love these” every single time we go out into the garage and open them up to go out!We dealt with Carrie who kindly showed us several options in the showroom and gave us several printed quotes that detailed exactly what they would do.On installation day, Nigel showed up at 7:00 am ( exactly when he said he would) and proceeded to get the job done!The old doors, metal railing and door openers were all removed. A new wooden frame was built around the door openings. The new doors were all laid out on the garage floor and were partially assembled with hinges and rollers then inserted into the new metal railing.Finally the new side-mounted garage door openers were installed as well as the sensors and locks wired up and programmed.Our old wooden frame is now capped with aluminum and a weather tight seal. No more painting the frame every few years!Honestly this guy was amazing to watch and to get all of this done in about seven hours was incredible.To Carrie, Nigel and all the staff at Car-Wal doors: Thank you very much!
