We used California garage door repair this evening to replace our motor. The tech that they sent his name is Jacob. He did absolutely incredible work. We like the price we like the work we like the effort and we would refer this company to all of our friends.

I had an issue with my spring, which was still under warranty. Jacob came out and took a look. He assessed and confirmed it could be covered under warranty, and replaced the spring. Jacob was great. Came within the time frame, replaced the part very quick, confirmed and double confirmed everything was working. Very happy with the service.

It was true at the time, but boy have things changed!First of all, California Garage Door Repair is not who actually came and installed the door. I thought it was strange that CGD was the name on the van he was driving, but he said to make the deposit check out to Garage Door and Gate Repair. The door was installed by another individual who didn't even have an invoice or provide any paperwork. After a few days I tried to find the company's number again via Google and had no luck. I still had the technician's cell number so I asked for invoice and manufacturer's paperwork. No response until I texted a couple of times and asked for the correct company phone number. He then replied and said he would have dispatch send over the docs via email. Days later, still nothing. I sent another text, and he replied that his number is not the company number (duh!) and that I could call them, finally giving me a number. He also sent the invoices via text...only they say Sphere Garage Door Repair on them. If you're counting, that's the THIRD name thrown into the mix. He also said the docs had been emailed to me twice now, which was not true on my end. I called the office number he gave me and asked many questions about all the company names and got no where with the gal on the phone. She said she would ask that the paperwork be emailed again, so I asked what email she had. She read it to me and the technician had left the "s" off of my last name when he took it down. She said she corrected it and would ask accounting to send the docs. That was this morning, and I still have nothing. I don't know who made the garage door nor do I have any warranty information. Heck, I don't even know what company actually sold me the door! SUPER FRUSTRATING and not professional at all.
The best company I have ever did business with. By far. My rep. Jeremy was fantastic. From the first day I made contact with Jeremy to the day my new door was installed was 6 business days. Unbelievable customer service. The installer was awesome also. From start to finish it only took around two hrs. He swept out my garage floor also. I am so pleased with this company.
