Derby Strong Garage Doors

Their customer service was excellent! When they arrived to replace the garage door opener, sensors and rails they were professional and quick. They went over how the door operated, and made sure the remotes were all working before they left and explained the warranty, they made sure that I was good with everything before they left. After completion the office called to ensure customer satisfaction, this was a very positive experience.

I reached out to this company on Thumbtack and that very same day, I had a new garage opener installed. Communication was great and the work was quality. We love the new opener. It’s quiet and efficient. You can also control it from your phone. It came with a sensor light too which was a nice feature. All and all it was a great experience and we would hire them again! Was dropped off at home around 2 AM on 1/15/25. Staggered to the garage door control, outside. Opened the door. Walked to the house entry door. Hit the button to close the garage door and BLAMMO! Door broke. Cables broke. Rollers broke. I broke. Woke up the next day and called Derby Strong Doors. Someone came out to my house exactly when they said they would be there. Josh diagnosed my door issue(s), helped me close the door - and it took two of us to get it closed, and sent a crew the following week to put in a new door. Fast-forward to 1/23/25: Door crew shows up exactly when they said they would arrive. Two guys come in, talk to me for a few minutes to let me know about noise, cold, etc... Then, they get to work in the garage. I also worked on truck wiring in the garage and they were never in my way and let me know that I was not in their way. Good conversation the whole time and the conversation never slowed the guys down. Main points here are that Derby Strong Doors: - Answered my initial phone call within 2 rings. - Consulted with me so I could decide on a repair or replacement. - Consulted with me on garage door options. - I was only told about options, there was no "hard sell" which made the conversation very easy and productive. - Showed up exactly when they said they'd be here (twice!). - Installed a new garage door and garage door rails in a couple of hours. - Encountered no issues, or, if they did, they never complained and worked through them professionally. - Took the old garage door, rails and spring away. - Were good company in the garage while all were out there working. - FIXED my garage door problem! And, I received confirmation emails and follow-ups to my questions very quickly. I would highly recommend Derby Strong Doors to anyone needing help with an overhead door!! I included two pics; (1) with the door open because the install crew raised the door to it's highest setting when open, which is very helpful, and, (2) a pic with the door closed, taken from outside. Note that Derby Strong only replaced the actual garage door, not the exterior trim around the door so it looks old (20 yrs old, actually) while the new door look awesome! Love the door!!
