I asked for an approximated cost for a spring repair over the phone and was told $350 unless something else was also wrong the pricing could go up and there is a $69 service call fee that is charged if no work is done after the technician gives you his findings but this charge will be deducted from the bill if work is done. Once the technician evaluated my door he then proceeded to up sell me with $1,700 in repairs and upon my astonishment the menue prices go down from there. I just wanted the door fixed at the price quoted me over the phone yet he said the spring replacement on its own was going to cost now $449 until I objected and he finally agreed. I understand making suggested options repairs that my door may or may not needed immediately but thos up sell was all that he seemed interested in. Surprisingly my daughter's garage door also needed immediate service for a busted cable and the technician came and quoted $475 and for nothing else. I declined after running a search for cost to this job at $100 to $300. Jim's Garage door service did for $230 as stated over the phone and no menu up sell.
After full consideration , I have to give out the five star review to this company. From start to finish everything went better than I expected.We have owned this home for twenty years and have had many contractors come work throughout our time here. It is very easy to say.This was the best experience of them all.The wife got an emergency call at 4:00 in the morning and was about to leave when she forgot something in the house and did not put the vehicle back into park all the way and the SUV rolled into the garage door, still in drive.The repair technician, Craig came first to assess our situation. He showed me why we had to get a new door and got my broken door to work while we waited for the new door to come in. Todd , the salesman was very honest and explained the best door for me after telling him what I wanted.Shaun, the door installer could not have been more professional and easy to talk to. He said it will take about three hours and it took three hours. The concrete is not level on one side of the door and he stuffed styrofoam rod backer into the bottom seal, to make it seal perfect to the lower concrete. All seals are perfect across the top and sides as well. From inside , you can see no light gaps. Each one of them texted a picture of themselves and called me before they arrived. I have beeb given every reason to recommend this business.
Technician Todd and installer Shawn were both excellent to work with. Communication was top notch. Arrived on time and finished a new door install in 2.5 hours with everything working properly and no mess left behind. Highly recommend.
The bar that was attached to my overhead garage door and to the motor that lifts the door completely ripped out of the door. I called Precision and from the moment they answered the phone they were very professional. I was scheduled for later that afternoon with Mario. He actually called me and arranged to come earlier. He was extremely nice and finished the work within 30 minutes. He also checked out my door and said everything else looked fine. I thought the fee I was charged was very reasonable and if I should ever have another issue I would certainly call Precision again. Thank you!
Absolutely amazing work by the entire team from initial contact to final install. Superior quality door, closer and hardware. This thing is absolutely whispered quiet. I could not be happier. The two installers, Shawn and Justin, were absolutely stellar. They were uber friendly and knowledgeable. Install went super smooth and was done right! Very very happy with the result! And this was in the day we got 8 1/2” of snow!!!
