Right from the start, during the initial consult meeting and option selection I was presented with a far better solution that I anticipated I will be able to fit in.Install planning and coordination was just easy. Really good installation quality. They delivered what they promised, in the timeframe that they promised with no hidden extras and with minimum time investment on my end.My installation crew; Basel & Orion were also great. At the arrival, they took time to walk me through all available installation options which was important for me as the space is not finished and I wanted to make sure that none of the support frame components will be in the way of future finishes.Great job, great team, I definitely recommend going with this company for your garage door install. I will be using their maintenance services in the future.
The garage door depot staff are amazing! Kind, patient, knowledgeable and very friendly. Professional company that offers a superior product than the competition. Basel and Orion did a great job on installation and explained everything.
UPDATE (reply to company) : I would like to see the before and after photos of the work completed. It's quite clear that two of the three latches are crooked. No one else has ever serviced the latches besides your company. Why would I want your company to come back after the poor workmanship the first time? Especially after having to show your tech the other workmanship defects.My Initial interaction with the sales staff was ok. But the quality of the parts used and the workmanship was FAR from ok. We had some new door seals installed on all of our shop doors two door latches replaced and some service on the rollers.It was clear the technician who was working on the doors was having trouble doing his job and was missing a lot of things which we had to show him to fix on site which he only fixed one of his mistakes. The bottom door seals was not sitting correctly and there was a gap which he fixed. I had also told him that the two latches he installed where installed crooked which I have attached a photo of. One of the doors is now extremely difficult to unlock. He also did not install the new upper door seal correctly which tore in less than a week after the install. Also one of our door handles was left loose which he missed.I had also asked for adjustments on the springs to be made since our doors had trouble going up. He had told me that "we needed new springs" without even going up to inspect them initially. I had called him out on it asking how would he know without even inspecting them. He said that since we use the doors a lot they should be replaced. I had asked for an estimate to have the springs replaced as well as one of our garage door openers Which I had to wait for more than a week for and did not get an estimate for the garage door opener only the spring replacements. At the same time I was dealing with Ryan to get the damaged seal replaced, he was pushing me to join their maintenance program which I declined as the price seemed steep for the work that would of been performed.I was sent an estimate for $5600 to replace all the springs which seemed quite expensive, I had asked why the estimate was so much. I was advised that it takes two people to install and adjust the springs. I had a bad feeling since the inspection of the springs and the estimate and had another company come in to inspect. I had not mentioned anything about The garage door depots work and was advised that the springs were in great shape and they could do the adjustments. The adjustments were made on site by one technician and was done in about an hour and for $565.00 taxes in. I am EXTREMELY disappointed by their workmanship and business practices. Would not recommend doing any business with them.
My experience all round was excellent from communications with the office, the sales person and of course the installer. All patient and knowledgeable.The job was completed in a timely manner, extremely happy with the end result.Basel was our installer and I would highly recommend him.He was efficient, patient and explained everything very well professionally. The Garage Door Depot team completed a perfect installation today, using my used door, new high lift track and Jack shaft operator. Ryan arrived with the tech’s at the beginning and reviewed the site to insure alignment with the team as well as my back framing that was completed by myself ahead of time.The tech’s Basel and Orion quickly commenced the installation of the door but took the time to answer all questions and explained the installation from start to finish. They listened to my concerns and promptly addressed them. The capping of the exterior jambs will follow in the next few days and I was given the opportunity to complete final payment today or on final completion of the capping, hassle free!It took me many months to quote the work, listening to many versions of installation and cost. The service that they provided made it all worth it in the end. Thank you to all those at Garage Depot, including the behind the scene staff that assisted me with the transaction that lead to today!
