They installed the garage door about 13 months ago. However, after 13 months, the system stopped working. When I called them, they informed me that we needed to pay an additional $300 to replace the sensors and other components. Their customer service is appalling, and I strongly advise against using their services. They fail to stand by the product they installed.
Very dishonest company - Allen Garage Doors responded to my request for an inspection and estimate on Thumbtack for a broken spring in a rental property I own. Their technician went to the property ant met with my tenant. He called me with some outrageous quotes ranging from $750 to $3,500 for a Chinese made spring to one made in the U.S. He was acting like he was already there to do the job but I reminded him that he was there to provide an estimate. So he left but I found out when the next company showed up that the tech had disassembled some parts and just left them on the floor. Why some companies don’t want to make money the honest way is puzzling to me?
We had an unfortunate experience with Allen Garage Door Repair Inc. The technician who came, gave us a $1175 quote for a broken garage door spring and started repairing it before we could even agree on the price.He tried to rush us into getting the door repaired by him even after we asked him to stop. I had to repeatedly ask him to stop and then he got furious. We got the door repaired same day with another technician from another company who charged us $300 all inclusive.I do not recommend this technician from Allen Garage Door Repair Inc. and hope no one has to go through this kind of experience
Had an awesome experience working with this company. My garage door opener was fixed and my hinges were replaced. Tech Allen was friendly and professional. High quality garage door parts and their service fee was reasonable. I would definitely use this company again.
I had an awesome experience working with Allen. He was quick to response and the service he provided is really reliable. He was able to replace the broken pulley of my garage door. He also take the time to offer some tips on how to properly maintain my garage door. I would highly recommend this company if you ever need a garage door service.
