I had my new garage door installed 3 weeks ago, I wanted to work with it before leaving a review. I’m so pleased with it, it’s beautiful (I chose black) to go with my decor, quiet and the new motor is out of this world! In addition to being quiet, its camera alerts me and takes a picture of who is entering my garage if door is open, the light comes on automatically which is a Great feature because it’s so dark in there at night, I do store my water and colas outside, so it makes it so safe for me! I love the team that worked on installing it, 2 very nice guys, one Chandler and I apologize for not asking what the other guys name was. They were very professional, and did an amazing job and cleaned up as good as I would myself! When finished went over everything and explained it all to me!I honestly am so glad I chose Precision Garage Sales, while searching on the Internet, their company showed new lines, enthusiasm from their installers, offered high quality product. The pricing was exactly where I thought it should be from having this experience before and knowing what other people were paying!! One other thing I couldn’t believe was it’s so cool now inside my garage, believe me it wasn’t at all before, the reason was, it was off by 2 inches! Like I said I’m so happy with my new garage door. The new motor is probably why it’s so quiet. Great Company and great young men to work with. They were short 2 additional garage door openers, and the Boss brought them out! Classy operation all the way around! I’m so pleased I’ll give them a 10+ ! Awesome job again!Ryan thank you very much for your kindness and patience with me choosing exactly what I wanted! Miss Joy loved both of them!Donna Sparks
Called Precision in December with a garage door opener issue. I was told I needed all new springs. The cost was $2,500 with a lifetime part warranty. After three short months, my door would not go down. I called Friday and was told that they couldn’t get there until Sunday. I didn’t want to leave my garage open all night, but for an emergency call it was about $200. They could care less. The tech showed up on Sunday and hardly looked at the unit or parts and said the opener needed to be replaced. Price, $1,000. I looked up many units and most were under $300.I finally decided to call a more reputable company. They were honest and were ready to install a quality unit for a lot less. After looking at the parts, they were able to resolve a minor issue with the sensors and fixed it at a reasonable cost.I am very disappointed with Precision, due to the fact they came highly recommended in my community. They are dishonest and charge ridiculously high prices!!!!! RIP OFF!!!!Not so neighborly..update: I still stand by this review. Your prices are outrageous. Why was I told I needed a new opener? Much less, for $1,000? My opener was fine and had a lot more life in it. It was only sensors, Had your tech bothered to look at them, which he didn’t.
I’ll be honest — at first glance their pricing seemed a little higher than what you might expect. But after speaking with the technician and getting a full breakdown of what was actually involved, it completely made sense. When my garage door springs broke, I assumed it was just a simple “replace two springs and done” situation. That was not the case. The technician Robert explained that the entire spring assembly needed to be replaced, along with the pulley wheels and cabling to ensure everything operated safely and properly. He also noticed a couple of the rollers on my garage door were going bad and proactively replaced them with upgraded rollers — but still charged me the lower price. That kind of honesty and attention to detail goes a long way. What really stood out was the transparency. Their parts may appear more expensive than what you’d find at a hardware store, but that price includes labor and tax built into the parts. Instead of hitting you with a separate, inflated labor charge, they distribute the cost within the parts pricing. Once that was explained, it made perfect sense. On top of that, the quality of the parts they use is far superior to what you’d typically buy off the shelf, and they back everything with a lifetime warranty. In the long run, that means fewer issues and more peace of mind.Bottom line — you truly get what you pay for. Professional, transparent, and quality work. I highly recommend them.
Precision doors was phenomenal. They identified the problem and resolved immediately. My door is silent n not jerking anymore. Then he setup my car to open garage door therefore I don’t need the opener. Great service
The technicians came right away and did a fantastic job with taking down the old door and system and installing a complete new one within no time at all. All of my questions were answered and they both were very knowledgeable on the system. I’d pick them anytime for a number one reference!
