Long story short, we had a garage door installed by all about garage doors back in 2021 which resulted in a catastrophic failure in 2026 due to incorrect installation. The owner of all about garage doors was contacted, and to his credit, came out immediately to look at the door and attempt to fix. However, he was unable to fix the door, and despite saying he would reach out to us to schedule the repair, he never did. After reaching out to him on multiple occasions, we inevitably ended up going with another repair service to fix the door. The repair ended up costing as much as the original door and installation. But with this new service, we have a lifetime warranty. I am certain the work is done correctly now. The owner was upset when I left a one star review. I agreed to pull the initial review if he would make amends. He did not. So I am reposting the review. I would like to add if he wants to leave a one star review for my business in retaliation, please feel free to do so. I am a United States Air Force veteran who served during 9/11 and I will not be intimidated by the threat of a petty one star review from an unscrupulous individual.
They were so knowledgeable! Our technician was so friendly and knew exactly what to do to make our garage door as quiet as a mouse. We will defiantly keep using them for all of our garage door needs.
If I could, I'd give this place a 0 star rating. Buyer beware before you pay Robert, the owner, the fee to start the process of having a carport installed. You'd better be fully up to speed on your town's ordinances before you put a deposit down because you'll never see all of your money again. Yes, he did tell us at the time we signed the contract that the deposit was non-refundable, but he also said we could work something out if everything fell through. Well, it fell through by no fault of our own. Robert has been fully read in on exactly what all has happened and he knows why it is that we had no choice but to cancel the installation. Yet, he's refusing to give us a full refund of our deposit. My husband even offered to let him keep half of the deposit for all of the “time” Robert said he spent on us, which is extremely debatably and I have ample proof. In the end, I suppose we’re to be grateful to get 1/3 of what we put down back. However, he certainly didn’t do a thing worth keeping 2/3 of the deposit. He simply set us up with Eagle Carports as the middle man, so to speak. We literally heard nothing for 7 weeks until my husband called him only to be told we'd have to deal directly with Eagle. Robert said that his hands were off of it the moment he emailed everything to Eagle Carports. The lady at Eagle could tell I was upset by the whole matter and she jumped into action to help us get us our permit, which we hadn’t been told we’d have to get. Robert told my husband he’d come by to help with the sketch that would have to accompany the application, but he never showed up. If it weren’t for the lady at Eagle Carports and all of the help she offered us, the permit application would never have been submitted, let alone rejected. I only wish I’d seen the negative reviews online with similar complaints to ours before trying to support a local small business. Again, buyer beware.
What a great guy Ed is... he is prompt, professional and personable at the same time. My garage door needed a little work done to it and he had it taken care of right away! I highly recommend!
This company is fantastic! As a new home owner they made the entire process from start to finish, seamless and efficient. Darrell came out, with great knowledge of the product and quickly installed the new opener. He even considered my wants in placement of the keypad. The front desk associate Lisa is also very informative, and awesome at what she does! Don’t hesitate, they have great quality, pricing, customer service, and communication!
