I hired Adam to replace 2 torsion springs and the rollers of my garage door. He did a good job of replacing the parts. It took him about 1 hour to do the work. He charged me about $550 which included the parts, labor, and sales tax. I believe the price was too high for 1 hour work. He told me that he would email the a receipt for the payment and the receipt will show the workmanship guarantee & part warranty. He emailed me the receipt but there was no mention of the workmanship guarantee or parts warranty on the receipt. I sent him a text message and request what he had promised in writing. He responded that he was busy and he would do it soon. A few days later, I reminded him again by a text message and he never responded. It has been 9 days since he did the work and so far he has not given me what he promised!
I called on a Sunday when my garage door came off the cables. The actual owner picked up the phone (not a call center farming leads from paid ads). Scheduled an appointment the next day. He called 30 minutes before to confirm, showed up on time, quickly fixed my problem even though he had to make 2 trips for parts, and charged a very fair price. I even had to press him to add another $50 to account for his gas and drive time. The owner is very kind and personable and treated me like family. I wish I could give him and Garage Door MD 10 stars!In a home services space that is crowded with fake ads, bad actors, scammers and shady characters who do shoddy work and are just trying to make a quick buck, Garage Door MD stands apart like a breath of fresh air.
Adam came to replace a busted spring for my garage door a couple weeks back; got the job done very quickly and explained very clearly the work he did and what to look out for; thought he did a great job and very knowledgeable. Beyond that, when I had trouble with the door about a week later (not related to work he did) he was out here the next day to take care of it. Excellent service!

Adam is great and very personable! Turned my garage door nightmare into his professional fix. Replaced springs and insulated our garage door. Our car hadn’t been in there in a while. No way any other service provider could deliver this fix any better. If you are in the Thurston/Grays Harbor area he is your first and last call.
