I had a perfect experience with Apex, and I would recommend them to anyone! I originally had a different company come out to fix my garage, and their quote was ridiculous (thousands of dollars!). Then I called Apex, and Evan came out the same day. He fixed everything for less than $200 and was so friendly to me and my toddler! This is an honest company.
I hired Apex for basic garage door maintenance and to replace the bottom rubber seal. I explained upfront that I have a specialty Wayne Dalton aluminum/glass door with a grey seal, not the standard black one. The phone agent assured me they were familiar with it.The tech who arrived was immediately agitated, muttering complaints about the door and insisting it “wasn’t” a Wayne Dalton — until I pointed at the giant Wayne Dalton sticker. I reminded him that the seal needed to match the existing grey. He said they didn’t carry it. No problem — I told him he could just do the maintenance and I’d source the correct part myself. He claimed I “wasn’t allowed” because it was under tension (it isn’t — the bottom seal is not a tension component). He then sat in his truck for 30 minutes calling his boss and told me they’d contact me about ordering the correct seal. No one ever did. After I followed up, they finally scheduled a second visit. The same tech showed up again — with a black seal. When I asked why it wasn’t grey, he snapped, “You wanted grey?!” as if that wasn’t the one thing I repeated multiple times. At that point I just let him install the wrong part so I could end the ordeal. I’ll replace it myself. If you don’t have a standard, big-box-store garage door, I wouldn’t recommend Apex.
Finally! A Well-run, ethical company that isn't trying to rip you off! I had another company do an emergency minor repair a year ago, and the overcharging and high-pressure sales tactics totally turned me off. Well, we were having some issues with our existing 20+ year openers and doors, so I started researching...and I found Apex and read all the reviews here on Google. So...I took a chance. They showed up on time on the correct date, didn't try to over charge or upsell me on stuff I didn't need, and the installer they sent out (Evan) patiently answered ALL of my questions. Everything went as expected, and there were NO surprises. The work Evan did was very good and everything works perfectly. These guys do a great job and I'll use them again in a couple years for maintenance.
We had a great experience with Apex Garage Doors! They communicated really well throughout the whole process. Evan explained the problem clearly, walked me through the pricing, and had everything fixed in less than an hour. Super professional and efficient. Really glad we went with them!
Outstanding service! Brian was very pleasant and professional. He was on time as scheduled, diagnosed our problem, provided a fair quote and repaired our garage door in short order. He even tested the opener, checked the board and lubed all points on the door. All with a smile and pleasant conversation. Thanks!!
