Reviews often mention friendly staff, prompt estimates, and projects completed on the agreed schedule and price. Several customers praise courteous technicians and smooth installations. Some feedback cites limited office hours and instances where an issue required repeat visits before resolution.
They were very friendly and helpful. They got us exactly what we wanted. They did everything exactly as scheduled and exactly on time! And charged exactly what was agreed upon. ????????
Hours are not flexible. I have had to have my does repaired for the same problem every year or sooner. This last time, they have been out twice and still haven't gotten the problem fixed.
I had been needing garage doors at my home for such a long time. I reached out to Concho Valley Door. They were prompt on giving me an estimate. Their staff is courteous and the 2 gentlemen that worked on our garage were fantastic. I would recommend with 10 stars, if they had 10 stars.
I called Concho Valley Door to troubleshoot my garage door opener, which wasn’t opening or closing properly. Two technicians came out and tried replacing a wire, then the entire motherboard — neither fixed the issue. For context, the opener is from 2008, so I understand it’s older and parts can be brittle — but that’s still no excuse for what followed.Toward the end of the visit, one of the techs accidentally broke a connector while reassembling the unit. They spent a long time looking for a replacement — checked their truck, called the office — but came up empty. I was inside the house and had no idea what was going on until I went out to check because it seemed like they were taking unusually long. That’s when I found out about the broken piece. I even offered to drive to Walmart myself to buy the part just to save time, since they weren’t having any luck. What’s worse is they never actually fixed the problem. They ended up taping the broken connector back together and left it that way — no temporary workaround, no offer to return later with the correct part, nothing. Just a taped-up part and a push to consider buying a whole new garage door opener instead.I was also charged for 1.5 hours of labor — including the time they spent trying to fix a mistake they made. All I expected was a service call and up to an hour of labor, but I got billed extra for THEIR delay. When I went to the office the next business day to dispute it, the manager was polite but wouldn’t refund the extra half hour. Instead, she offered to apply that $50 toward a new opener — again pushing the upsell instead of taking accountability. What bothers me most is that Concho Valley Door is one of the main providers in San Angelo area especially my area since they installed all the garage doors opener when these houses were built. especially for the model I have. They even had records in their system showing the opener’s age and service history — so they should’ve been better prepared for a situation like this. I shouldn’t be left with an unfinished job, a halfway-fixed opener, and a bill that includes time spent on THEIR own mistake. The techs were courteous, but the lack of follow-through, transparency, and professionalism turned this into a frustrating and disappointing experience.
Concho Valley Door was great to work with. I built a metal detached garage for one of my clients and Concho Valley Door provided/ installed a super nice residential garage door. Building turned out awesome! Everyone is happy!
