My garage door spring snapped in the evening. Found the small business local place with good reviews and gave them a call. Roy came out the next morning, went over the repair options and replaced the spring and coils within an hour. Garage is opening smoother than ever. Highly recommend!

Great job by SD Garage Doors. We worked with Nir who helped us with the design and building a garage door for our new garage. Happy with the result.

Our very old garage door was noisy and needed replacing. We saw someone in our neighborhood had a beautiful new garage door with glass panels and asked them for a referal. They gave us the number and web site for San Diego Garage Doors. Roy came over shortly thereafter to discuss what we wanted and he remembered doing our neighbor's door. He gave us a quote, we made a deposit and he said it would take about 6 weeks for delivery and installation. In the event, it arrived earlier than expected. His workers installed the new garage, helped us set it up with clickers and took care that the edges were sealed to retain heat. The workers were friendly and professional and took about 3 hours. They cleaned everything up and hauled away our old garage door. I can not understate how much we love our new garage door. We have so much light in our garage now and it also adds some light to the rest of the house. And of course, it looks gorgeous. I highly recommend San Diego Garage Doors. Excellent work!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a garage door installation take?

Most single- or double-door installations are completed in one day. Openings that need new framing or header work can take longer.

Does San Diego Garage Doors remove an old garage door?

Removal and disposal of the old door and track are included in the quote unless the customer wants to keep them.

What do the parts warranties cover?

Doors, openers, springs and hardware have manufacturer warranties that vary by product. The company says exact terms and lengths are confirmed in writing with the quote.

Do standard residential fences need a permit?

The company says most standard residential fences under the height limit do not require a permit; pool barriers, retaining walls and taller fences often do.

What if a driveway gate has no power?

The company offers solar-powered operators for gates without power at the gate; trenching and running power is another option.
