Working with Sam was a great experience. Sam was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, and communicative regarding our garage issues. He was immediately available to work on the garage issues which was near the end of day and completed the job the following morning as he said he would. He replaced our garage motor systems and installed the outdoor keypads. Sam was very pleasant to work with and we are very satisfied with his work.

Our old flip garage door broke on the evening of January 21st and was stuck about 1/4 of the way open, making it an emergency. We had been planning to replace the door after completing other home repairs, but due to the situation we needed immediate help. I searched online for a company open after hours and found Melikson Garage Door, whose phone message stated they are available 24/7. When I called, someone answered immediately and scheduled an appointment for that same evening.

Ben came out promptly to assess the garage door and explained that repair was not an option and that we needed a replacement. While he was here, we verified their contractor’s license online and confirmed everything was in good standing. He reviewed the C.H.I. Overhead Doors brochure with us in detail, and we selected a 2-sided steel insulated garage door with raised long panels in white, along with a new LiftMaster garage door opener.

The next day, I called the office and spoke with Toni, the manager, who assisted me in obtaining their Certificate of Liability Insurance, which was promptly emailed to us. Ben returned on Thursday morning to take additional measurements to ensure a precise and proper fit.

On Friday, Victor installed our new C.H.I. garage door and LiftMaster opener. Victor’s workmanship was truly outstanding. His installation was precise, meticulous, and clearly performed with extensive experience and technical skill. He ensured perfect alignment of the tracks, properly balanced the springs, securely installed all hardware, accurately calibrated the opener, and thoroughly tested the system for safe and smooth operation. He worked efficiently, kept the area clean, and made sure everything operated quietly and flawlessly before leaving. The difference is remarkable — the door now opens and closes almost silently compared to our old one.

The 2-inch R17-19 insulated panels have already made our garage warmer and much more comfortable. The door looks beautiful inside and out and feels solid and well constructed.

I could not be happier with the experience of dealing with Melikson Garage Door. I contacted them via email on Saturday 2/7 in the evening.. The next day (Super Bowl Sunday) 2/8, Steve showed up and fielded my request for an estimate for a new garage door. He effectively presented me all of the options and my wife and I selected the door we wanted with the obscured windows and grid pattern. The price he provided was very competitive compared to other quotes I received. Further, the turnaround was so fast - it was more than I could have asked for. By 1pm Tuesday 2/10, we had the new garage door installed. The technician that came out to install was very professional and courteous. He cleared items out of the way, removed all or the old scrap items, and did a good job of clean-up. This was all within 72 hours of me contacting them. Very impressive service, all around! Would not hesitate to use them again in the future for any service needs. Would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.
