A huge shout out to installer Brian at creative door! He came and not only resolved the main issue he also worked very hard to correct another issue. Brian was polite, professional and went over and above! Definitely call creative door if you have any issues.
Very happy with the new door and expert installation. My garage turned out to not be all that level or square, but my installer improvised and adjusted as needed to make sure the door was installed and moves smoothly.
Update: The company sent a fourth tech who fixed the issue. I am thankful for the followup.-----------------------------------------------------------Had three visits from this company in July 2025. The first time, my garage door spring had broken and they replaced it. All was good for about a week, but then the door suddenly wouldn't open any more and it was falling out of line with the tracks/rails.Another technician came and got it working again by adjusting the rails, but only for about 5 days. A third technician came, said my rails are too bent to bother fixing the door, disconnected the motor, and said I need a new door and rails, even though the second tech was the one who moved the rails. The third tech also told me that it is ideal for the vertical garage door rails to be not perfectly plumb to the ground and parallel to each other, but to be slightly bowed. This is definitely not true, and I'm surprised he said this. I'm very unimpressed because my garage door was working fine since I moved in 4 years ago, and all of a sudden my rails are bent and I need a whole new door just because my spring broke.Currently shopping around for a new door, but definitely not from this company.
Staff are so nice and helpful, from my sales person to the guys that came out to install. They worked around my budget to get me the look and product I wanted. Thank you!
Sadly we are having a similar experience to the one star rating. We have a 3 year old house and the garage door spring has broken. Our door is stuck closed. It seems that the tactic they use is to offer to get someone in 3 weeks from now, but if you want you can call the emergency line and get prompt service… for an additional fee. This is a warranty issue and should be dealt with promptly. I don’t like the tactic they use to pressure you to pay extra for the service you should be getting. If someone’s available for emergency repair, they’re available to fix a warranty issue. but apparently a 3 year old spring is not under warranty. So we will be getting our spring replaced by a better company in Saskatoon and will certainly not recommend Creative Doors to anyone. Poor service. Quite sad and disappointing.
