Horrible customer service since being bought out. Took over 4 months for panels and had to ask for updates with no responses to most emails. Last minute cancellation and then not showing up on time (hours late) for scheduled appointment.
I gotta tell you this level of customer service is not normal anymore but how refreshing it is! Our overhead door on our acreage came off over the holidays and steelcraft had installed it so we tried to get them to help us first. They sucked with heir communication and customer service and their coordinator had no idea where there sevice guys were or what order we were in. We cancelled woth them and I called Gold N Doors since I had experience with them working with Colliers. Well they did not disappoint. I called them at 830am then they were out here by 930am pleasant and eager to do the job. Jeff was the lead with Cole as his second and if the bosses read this, you got 2 guys who are professional, respectful and great workers. Took them no time at all to fix the door, explain the issue and how they fixed it and they were patient with my elderly father in their explanation so he could understand. Patience is a viture and these young men really do get it! I commend both of them on old school customer service and I commend the company for putting customers first unlike many of their competitors. We will use them again if needed and will tell anyone who cares they do good service! This message is from 1 happy customer!

Thrilled once again with prompt and smiling service staff. Called last night to leave a message for the morning when we discovered we could not get the garage door to open after work. To my surprise I didn’t get an answering machine, I had a really person on the line and Kyra was happy to assist and had me booked in next day. The team called before arrival, showed me what was going on and made a couple recommendations, checked out other door and were so positive in attitude even with this crazy snowstorm we are getting end of March! 10/10 recommend!
The CEO, Dwayne, came to give an estimate promptly. The install happened in Feb 2025 when it was frigid. Very happy with results and price. Replaced a stupid Upwadoor with plastic hinges that broke. Doors are made in Alberta, not Ontario like Upwardoor.
