I do not reccomend these guys if you need service on an overhead door overhead door. I had our door come off during the heavy winds in Dec 2024 and needed someone out to fix it. I called in December and left a message but they were on holidays which was expected. Then I called again on Jan 2nd and spoke to Jud the service coordinator who said I would be helped on Monday the 5th. Well Monday came around and no call no nothing. So I called and Jud told me his guy was backed up but that he would call me later that day to let me know where he was at and when i could expect help. That didn't happen. So i called back this morning and good ole DEI hire jud said he was sorry he didn't call me but that I was on his guys list. I asked where was I on his "list" and he had no clue. I asked as a coordinator how did he not know his service list or what had been done to date and he had no reply but, duh, i dont know. With that level if incompetence I then called Gold N Doors and they were pleasant, helpful and are sending someone this morning. 1 company doesn't care about its customerrs and the other does. Steelcraft fails its customers, use someone else.
Very poor customer service! After multiple warranty calls that left my garage door not functioning properly after install, I made two subsequent service appointments. On both occasions, the service tech decided to not show up within the scheduled time. On follow up with their office, they proceeded to laugh and rudely explain how they would not be able to reschedule for another two weeks. Choose anyone else.
Picked up $10,000 in doors that we will install. My son picked up the doors. The person loading was swearing at him and talking about his genitals and really rude. Definitely won’t purchase here again. I hope the product is better than the service! Ordered was delayed a week too, but that wasn’t that big of a deal. Apparently the PA store is great. Should have gone there.
Good to deal with. Pretty decent stock. But they're busy, so you gotta give them a chance to get your package ready.Don't just hang a door, INSTALL A STEEL CRAFT!
I'm very happy for there service. My garage door's spring was broken at the extra cold temperature -35 °C The day before yesterday, after I measured the size of spring, I went to this store yesterday and tried to find the matched 2 springs, the staff is friendly and patient to check in stock, he told me no matched size in stock but can be made and picked them up after 2 hours, I ordered the springs and pickled it up on time. I installed them within 1 hours, it works fine. The price of springs are reasonable. Thank you very much!
