Do not use this company. At the cost of $209 they installed a bottom seal on my door a little over a year ago and did not check that the garage door was hung level. I was there with the technician the whole time. I recently found my door was not level and when it was levelled correctly the seal that was installed by this company was 1 ½ inches off the ground at one end. Hence I had to pay another company $300 to have a new seal retainer installed in order to accommodate a larger seal. This cost could have been avoided if this company had done their job right to begin with.
Happy with service from Chris the tech. Margeret in the office was quick to get me information and follow up after sale. They provided me with a replacement for a broken Wayne Dalton spring and garage door opener. Saved me alot. Excellent job.
Delt with a garage door for a long period of time not working as it should. Chris changed out the electric eye and the door now operates like a new unit. Professional repair by a professional technician. Kudos to a great team.
* * Do Not Do It * *They did a poor install on my garage door opener (it had to be adjusted when I had my new garage door installed) but the brutal part of my dealings with this company was the attitude I received when I asked for my Military discount. I called for help & they did not call me back. They also sold me a seal & installed it but then told me my garage door was cracked afterwards. POOR
Dishonest business practices. I called and left a voicemail explaining that I needed service. Technician showed up next day (he was great), no repairs needed, and 2 weeks later I got a phone call asking for $195 call out charge. At no time did I agree to a call out charge figure. $195 is ridiculously excessive. When I complained I was told I will be put on a ‘banned’ list and that Advanced Door will not provide service to me again. Saves me from remembering never to call them! Do better back office.
