I originally called to have the bottom rubber replaced on the garage door which they completed, also after much consulting I also replaced the springs for the lifetime springs since they were getting old. I'm comfortable with the additional work I agreed to.... the service guys Jorge and George were great to work with. Almost a year ago I had A1 replace my garage door opener, and they performed a 29pt inspection at that time. At that inspection, only 14 of the 29 items were marked green and "passed." The remaining 15 of the 29 items scored either yellow (needs attention) or red (failing). I didn't authorize any further work that day as the door and (new) opener were working fine. Three days ago, A1 performed another 29pt inspection. Imagine my surprise when I compared last year's report to this new one, and saw that all 29 items on my new report passed/were marked green. Until three days ago, no one else has worked on my garage door or opener since A1 did the 29pt inspection last March, so it appears someone's not being honest with me. Either the tech three days ago wanted to just get in and out as fast as possible and scored everything green/passed, or the tech from last March was trying to get me to spend a ton of $ on repairs I didn't need. I have no way of knowing which report is accurate and the true condition of my garage door and opener. One thing I do know is I will never do business with A1 again.
Preston is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. I explained our issues and concerns, and he presented a series of options and prices and the pros/cons to address them. When he showed me how old our operator, motor, soring, and belt were, I felt comfortable with choices for the long term. Preston and Sam did a great job with their time estimate and cleaning up the work site. Plus they were a lot of fun to chat with about various topics.
Had a wonderful experience with Antonio and his trainee Sam. In the midst of the Tuneup, he realized that the entire bracket need to be moved up where the springs are attached. His attention To detail and correcting the problem we’re very much appreciated. Not to mention, we had a nice visit and he offered some spiritual advice. Something I needed at this moment I would highly recommend this technician.
Great reputable company. They are always professional and available to help. I would highly recommend. Our technician Jake was able to come out earlier than the dispatcher told us and was great! He was very detailed and informative with everything he did. Professional all the way.
