Arriving home late yesterday afternoon, we discovered that our garage door would not open. It had been functioning perfectly until it suddenly stopped without warning. I submitted a message through Shawn’s website, and by 8:20 PM last evening, he had called my husband to let us know he could be at our home between 8:00 and 10:00 AM today. That level of responsiveness is exceptional.

Upon arrival, Shawn immediately assessed the situation and explained that he already had a strong idea of what had occurred. We have a double garage door—the one that would not open—and a single garage door that had recently become noisier and slower. Shawn showed us that the cables on the double door had broken and pointed out additional issues affecting both doors.

He had all necessary materials on his truck and was able to repair both doors on-site, including installing standard neoprene rubberized rollers, new extension springs, pulleys, and cables. Within two hours, both doors were fully repaired with new parts.

Throughout the process, Shawn was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took the time to explain the repairs and walked us through the routine maintenance needed to keep our doors operating reliably in the extreme temperature changes we experience here in NW Iowa. His pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the speed and quality of service.

We now have his card placed right by the garage door opener controls, and we will not hesitate to contact him again should we need assistance in the future. Thank you, Shawn—your service was outstanding.

The torsion spring broke on one of our garage doors, so I reached out to Shawn on a Saturday. He was able to schedule the repair for the following Monday morning.

Shawn and his team member thoroughly inspected the door and made sure everything was operating properly. They recommended replacing the rollers, which were worn, and also offered to inspect our second garage door while they were there. They replaced the rollers and completed a tune-up on that door as well.
